Abstract

L'invention concerne un maître-cylindre tandem pour système de freinage hydraulique. Ce maître-cylindre comprend deux pistons de pression 4, 5 délimitant deux chambres de pression 8, 21 reliées directement aux cylindres de roue des freins de l'essieu avant. Elles sont reliées par deux régulateurs 66, 39 à soupape aux cylindres de roue des freins de l'essieu arrière. Chaque piston 4, 5 porte un prolongement 15, 28 destiné à interdire mécaniquement la fermeture d'une soupape d'un circuit de freinage quand l'autre circuit de freinage est défaillant. L'invention s'applique aux systèmes de freinage hydraulique pour véhicules automobiles.
