Abstract

L'invention concerne un maître-cylindre tandem à régulateur. Ce maître-cylindre comprend dans un alésage 2 un piston de pression 3 délimitant une chambre de pression 4 reliée aux freins de l'essieu, avant VA. Dans des manchons fixes 17, 26 est disposé un régulateur à soupape 45, 46, 47, 48 à l'intérieur d'un piston étagé 30. La chambre de sortie 40 du régulateur est reliée aux freins de l'essieu arrière HA. Un piston de blocage 20 disposé dans le premier manchon 17 peut empêcher la fermeture de la soupape en servant d'appui au poussoir 48 et il est actionnable mecaniquement par un prolongement 14 du piston de pression 3 en cas de défaillance du circuit des freins de roues avant. L'invention s'applique aux systèmes de freinage hydraulique pour véhicules automobiles.
