Abstract

Cartons are formed from blanks obtained in pairs by defining in the blank material a pair of side panels (2, 20) and a bottom panel (3) by fold lines (a1, a4). The side panels are divided into parts (21, 22) and the bottom panel is divided into two halves by a cut (13). Bottom flaps (31, 32) are formed from the bottom panel by an oblique (c) and vertical cuts (D2, D3). The bottom panel halves may alternatively be divided by pairs of oppositely inclined oblique cuts.
