Abstract

817,223. Cartons; wrappers. DAVIDSON & SONS Ltd., C. June 4, 1957 [Aug. 27, 1956], No. 26200/56. Classes 18 and 94(1). A blank for a fibreboard carton has a base 1 from two opposite edges of which protrude extensions 2 cut to outline tabs 11 and scored to fold up into tubular ends each having a wall 8 over which the tabs can bend resiliently to prevent the ingress of cards or letters. Extensions 4 scored to fold over the ends and form side walls 12 and a top 13 protrude from the other two edges. Flaps 9 of the extensions 2 are glued to the base and corresponding parts 13 of the extensions 4 are lined with self-sealing adhesive.
