Abstract
A hollow explosive charge which has a double charge, one near classical hollow one behind the main one (1) and an additional charge (2) at the front. This is annular and detonates after the passing of the main charge core. It so accelerates the core. The additional charge is placed preferably in the pointed section. It has an annular cavity, the interior diameter of which is about 0.2 times the calibre of the main charge. The detonation of the additional charge is given an appropriate delay relative to that of the main change. This is done by several detonating cords.
