Abstract

Paper or cardboard sheets preprinted on both faces to resemble arrays of data cards are cut to obtain individual cards collected in stacks go that each label is interposed between two pieces of thermoplastic film of slightly greater area than the card. The film boarders are then sealed: together to enclose the printed card. Pref. the films are of vinly acetate/vinly chloride, laminated at 160 degrees C and 30 kg/cm2 pressure to obtain waterproof cards at least 0.3 mm thick which are easily cleaned of superficial dirt.
