Abstract

1,264,712. Credit cards. J. C. WARDEN (Pictorial Productions Inc.). 23 May, 1969, No. 26449/69. Heading B6A. Credit cards 15, Fig. 6, bearing common data 11, 12, 13 and 20 and individual data 17, 18 are made in groups by printing two sheets 10, 25, Fig. 4, -with a plurality of areas of common data and the individual data on respective faces of the sheets 10a or 10b and 25a, superposing the sheets with the registered areas over each other protecting the printed areas with one or more sheets 40, 41, fusing or bonding the sheets into a laminar assembly and then severing individual credit cards from the laminar assembly. In a particular embodiment sheet 10 was made of white, opaque polyvinyl chloride film having a thickness of 1 unit, the sheet 25 was made of 5 mil thick films of transparent polyvinyl chloride and the sheets 40, 41 were made of 1 mil thick transparent polyvinyl chloride.
