Abstract

On introduit simultanément du naphtalène et une partie de l'oléum, la plus grande partie de la quantité totale d'oléum mise en oeuvre, à une température de 140 à 240 degrés C dans de l'acide sulfurique ou de l'oléum à basse concentration, on maintient la température pendant quelque temps entre 140 et 240 degrés C, on ajoute le restant d'oléum à une température de 140 à 240 degrés C et on agite encore quelque temps à ce niveau de température. Ce procédé donne de meilleurs rendements et consomme moins d'énergie que les procédés de la technique antérieure.
