Abstract

Dispositif destiné à appliquer hermétiquement et à maintenir une vitre dans une ouverture délimitée par un encadrement, muni d'un rebord qui occupe tout le pourtour de cette ouverture et comprenant un joint d'étanchéité souple qui présente un premier canal destiné à recevoir un bord de vitre et qui occupe au moins une partie de la longueur de l'ouverture en étant fixé audit encadrement Ce dispositif d'étanchéité et de retenue est caractérisé en ce que le joint d'étanchéité 18 est retenu sur le rebord 14 par un organe rigide 30 disposé longitudinalement, ayant une forme qui assure son contact avec une surface extérieure du joint d'étanchéité 18 et qui est maintenu de manière fiable sur l'encadrement 13 de l'ouverture par un dispositif relâchable de verrouillage 34, 38. Application à la fixation de pare-brise de véhicules automobiles.
