Abstract
L'invention décrit l'introduction par diffusion d'au moins un élément dans un métal. On peut introduire Al ou Si par diffusion dans du fer (ou dans du ferro-silicium) en appliquant sur le fer une pâte aqueuse contenant de la poudre d'aluminium/silicium, du silicate de sodium et éventuellement de l'oxyde de magnésium et de la silice colloïdale, puis en calcinant. Le métal ferreux ainsi traité peut notamment servir à la fabrication de noyaux de transformateurs électriques ayant de bonnes propriétés magnétiques.
