Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil d'examen à l'aide des ultrasons utilisant le procédé à échos d'impulsions. Cet appareil, qui comprend un système émetteur-récepteur d'ultrasons 1, 2 envoyant sur une voie de pré-parcours des signaux à un objet et les transmettant à un oscilloscope cathodique 13, comporte un dispositif de mesure du temps 21 à 25 déterminant le temps de pré-parcours d'une impulsion d'émission dans la voie de pré-parcours et un organe de réglage et de déclenchement 19 permettant de régler la période de récurrence d'impulsions successives d'émission sur le temps de pré-parcours mesuré. Application notamment à l'obtention d'images de coupe du corps, obtenues à l'aide des ultrasons, pour le diagnostic médical.
