Abstract
L'invention concerne un appareil de diagnostic médical spécialement conçu pour le dépistage du mastocarcinome. Au fond d'un récipient 11 rempli d'eau chaude 12, une sonde 14 à ultra-sons effectue un balayage mécanique en forme de secteur ainsi qu'un balayage électronique longitudinal perpendiculairement à la direction du balayage mécanique. Une membrane souple transparente aux ultra-sons est tendue en travers du récipient au-dessous de la surface de l'eau et au-dessus de la sonde. La membrane 18 est dotée d'entailles 28 laissant librement circuler l'eau. La femme subissant l'examen applique sa poitrine 13 contre la membrane en l'immergeant dans l'eau chaude, et, par le moyen d'un appareil de visualisation 17, il apparaît une image de coupe de la poitrine L'invention s'applique plus spécialement aux examens des collectivités.
