Abstract
La présente invention concerne un dispositif de couplage ou de dérivation optique. Le dispositif 50 de dérivation et de couplage optique selon la présente invention comprend un corps transmissif focalisant la lumière 4 présentant une distribution d'indice de réfraction, telle que cet indice diminue progressivement à partir du centre vers la périphérie, de sorte que de la lumière incidente à partir de l'une des deux faces extrêmes, perpendiculairement à l'axe central peut se propager en ondulant vers l'autre face extrême, selon un pas donne (trajet 7 ou 8), ce corps transmissif focalisant la lumière ayant une longueur qui est un multiple entier positif d'environ le quart de pas; et un moyen réflecteur 9 positionné à une distance d'un quart de pas par rapport à la face extrême 5 du corps 4. Application aux télecommunications optiques.
