Abstract
a. Coupleur optique comprenant au moins trois branches du genre fibre optique. b. Un coupleur à trois branches comprend des première et seconde fibres optiques 1, 2 ayant deux tronçons tronconiques extrêmes solidaires, à axes coplanaires. Les deux tronçons tronconiques sont terminés par une première extrémité commune sphéroïdale 612 centrée sur leur génératrice commune, et d'un diamètre supérieur à la somme des diamètres de coeur de leurs petites bases extrêmes. La troisième branche du coupleur est constituée par une troisième fibre optique 3 dont une extrémité est en regard de l'extrémité sphéroïdale. Dans le cas d'un coupleur à quatre branches, la quatrième branche est constituée par une quatrième fibre optique. Les extrémités des troisième et quatrième fibres optiques ont la forme de deux tronçons tronconiques solidaires ayant leurs axes coplanaires et terminés par une seconde extrémité commune sphéroïdale centrée sur leur génératrice commune, d'un diamètre supérieur à la somme des diamètres de leurs petites bases extrêmes. Les première et seconde extrémités sphéroïdales sont en regard. c. Couplage de signaux optiques.
