Abstract

L'invention concerne l'élevage des animaux dans des espaces confinés. Le procédé selon l'invention, pour régler l'humidité d'un habitat confiné et fermé pour animal et pour purifier l'air dudit habitat de manière à éviter la formation indésirable de gaz odorants et nocifs, consiste : à prélever une partie de l'air de l'habitat confiné; à mettre en contact l'air prélevé avec une solution aqueuse contenant 0,01 % à 1,0 % en poids de peroxyde d'hydrogène et 10 % à 85 % en poids d'un acide minéral choisi parmi l'acide phosphorique et l'acide sulfurique, ledit air et ladite solution aqueuse étant sensiblement à la même température; à absorber et à oxyder les gaz odorants et nocifs dans ladite solution aqueuse; à ajuster la concentration en acide minéral pendant l'étape de mise en contact de manière à maintenir le niveau d'humidité de l'air mis en contact au niveau désiré compris entre 40 % et 95 % d'humidité relative; et à faire passer l'air à nouveau dans l'habitat confiné.
