Abstract

The magnetic card actuated electronic lock for hotels etc., uses cards coded w.r.t. lock characteristics and time periods, and has a locking bolt (12) which is controlled indirectly from the exterior via a handle and two toothed segments (16, 17). The lock also embodies a mini battery-fed (17) electronic unit (6) for memorising and reading magnetic cardselectric motor (21) displacing the basculing lever (25) via the threaded drive shaft worm and push roddisplay L1, L2) signal unit visible from either door side control for security purposes.
