Abstract
The wall unit is designed to permit unit connections that obviate 'thermal bridges', and constitutes an insulation core sandwiched by metal plates, with the metal returning squarely at the edges for a distance of less than half the wall thickness to define vertical corners. The panel connections are effected by internal cross-joint ties which are post tensioned by a bolt operated cam arrangement. The bolts engage in sockets provided in adjacent panel edges, the sockets being formed by a divergent U-section liners. One of the bolts is of hexagonal section to engage the cam and permit rotation by means of a wrench.
