Abstract

The synchronisation pulses are obtained from the projector film drive, and from the sound track unit recording web drive, and supplied to a reversible counter with two separate count inputs. The counter output is connected to an indicator and to a drive control unit for the sound track web, such that for each change of scene the specific point along the sound track web is detected and by means of the synchronisation pulses the sound recording corresponding to the scene is obtained from the sound track web. The reversible counter provides a binary output signal the positive binary signal being supplied to the sound track drive control unit. The change of scene is detected automatically, with the sound track web stopped automatically for each synchronisation pulse obtained from the latter indicating a new scene, the counter being blocked and reset at the same time.
