Abstract

The spectacles frame comprises a front piece (1) for holding the lenses, and two side arms (2) attached to the latter by hinges at the temple. The free end of each side arm is curved inwards slightly to fit around the head of the wearer, and has an internal longitudinal channel (2a) in which an end piece is retained. The end piece comprises a pressure pad (4) at the end of a resilient arm (3) which slides freely in the channel (2a) provided in the corresponding side arm (2). The channel (2a) has a stop, at its inner end, preventing further insertion of the resilient arm (3) and an elastic grip element, adjacent its entrance, to hold the resilient arm (3) in a required position.
