Abstract

The spectacles frame comprises a front frame element carrying the optical lenses and two rigid side arms, each with a curved end section (12). A retractable curved flexible wire loop (14) is incorporated in each side arm, so that in the extend position it fits behind the ear of the wearer. The wire loop (14) slides into a groove (13) formed along the length of the arm into the retracted position. The extended and retracted position of each wire loop(14) are defined by stops (15, 16) fitted to its inner and outer ends respectively.
