Abstract
1,173,846. Boots, &c. DESMA-WERKE G.m.b.H. 4 Sept., 1968 [5 Oct., 1967], No. 42003/68. Heading A3B. A shoe of the type having an upper 10 and sole 11 of injection-mouldable material e.g. synthetic plastics material or rubber, has the upper 10 and sole 11 moulded to a leather lining 13 with an insole 15. The shoe is made by securing the margin 14 of the lining 13 to the insloe 15 by adhesive or stitching 16, placing the lining 13 and insole on a last, injection moulding an upper 10 of soft pliable material and injection moulding the sole 11 of hard abrasion resistant material. The upper 10 and sole 11 are connected with one another along a surrounding edge strip R. The leather lining 13 reduces the formation and accumulation of sweat in the shoe.
