Abstract
A device for nailing together two construction elements 7, 8 by a nail being pressed by means of a first pressure medium cylinder 5 through the one construction element, for example a plasterboard 7, and further into the second construction element, for example a wooden transom 8. The first cylinder 5 is secured in an axially movable manner to a stand part 1 and a pressure foot 6 is adjustably fixed to the cylinder by means of which a collaring force can be generated against the construction. The working stroke of the piston rod 20 of the first cylinder realizes the forcing home of the nail. A second, smaller pressure medium cylinder 3, fixedly connected to the stand part 1, is set up to collar the first cylinder and its pressure foot tightly against the construction elements so as to hold these together as the nail is forced home. The second cylinder 3 is arranged such that its piston rod 12 is displaceable in a direction essentially perpendicular to the motional direction for the piston rod 20 of the first cylinder. Fixed to the free end of the piston rod 12 of the second cylinder is a wedge 4, which can be driven in between the rear part 23 of the first cylinder and the stand part, for realizing the collaring of the first cylinder, with constant collaring force, and maintained bearing of the pressure foot against the construction elements, even when the parts are locally further pressed together as the nail is driven in. <IMAGE>
