Abstract

Energy-absorbing laminate with improved torsion resistance, especially for a ski, comprising a rigid core which is covered at least partially by a grid structure (1) on at least one of its flat surfaces. The grid structure comprises a number of parallel elastomeric strips (4, 5) disposed in layers and reinforced by twisted fibre bundles (3) which extend in the longitudinal direction of the strips. The strips intersect one another at an angle ( alpha ) between 10 DEG and 120 DEG and are connected together in their contact zones (6).
