Abstract

1. Mobile gun carriage with wheels for high and low angle firing weapons, particularly trench mortars with a barrel (1), optionally with a breech block, as well as a recoil and recuperator mechanism (25) and with a base plate (6) directly supported on the substrate and on which are provided trails (5) for stabilization purposes, whereof two are directed away from one another when considered in the firing direction, as well as with an elevating (15) and traversing (11) mechanism for the barrel (1), which is adjustable by means of separately mounted pivot pins (3, 4), characterized in that the pivot pin (3) for the elevation of the barrel (1), together with the elevating mechanism (15) is pivotable about the pivot pin (4) of the traversing mechanism (11), that considered in the firing direction the traversing axis (4) is located in front of the elevating axis (3) and simultaneously serves as a rotation axis for the trails (5) and that the effective surface of the base plate (6) intersects the axis of the barrel (1) in each firing position.
