Abstract

Un ordenador central para uso en un sistema de tratamiento de datos que incluye también una memoria para almacenar instrucciones y datos, comprendiendo dicho ordenador: A. un contador de programa para identificar la posición inicial de una instrucción en la memoria; B. medios de memoria intermedia de instrucción para recibir información procedente de un número predeterminado de posiciones en la memoria comenzando en la posición especificada por dicho contador de programa; C. medios de descodificación de código de operación conectados a dichos medios de memoria intermedia de instrucción para descodificar una primera porción de la información presente en dichos medios de memoria intermedia de instrucción como código de operación; y D. medios de descodificación de especificador de operando para descodificar porciones sucesivas de la información que sigue al código de operación en respuesta a dichos medios de descodificación de código de operación.
