Abstract
Perfeccionamientos introducidos en un conjunto de limpiadores de aire por torbellino y eliminadores de nieblas, que comprende, en combinación, un alojamiento que tiene una entrada y una salida dispuestas para la circulación a su través de aire que lleva partículas contaminantes más pesadas y más ligeras y partículas soportadas en aerosol; y dispuestas en el alojamiento a través de la conducción de circulación de aire desde la entrada a la salida, en sucesión, una primera agrupación que elimina partículas contaminantes más pesadas y comprende una pluralidad de limpiadores de aire por torbellino, en que los limpiadores de aire por torbellino comprenden un cuerpo limpiador de aire tubular recto que tiene un pasaje central cilíndrico con una entrada y una salida en extremos opuestos, y un desviador adyacente a la entrada para crear una corriente de torbellino en el aire afluyente para concentrar partículas contaminantes en el aire junto a la periferia del pasaje y proporcionan un núcleo de aireen el centro del pasaje que contiene partículas contaminantes más ligeras y soportadas en aerosol, y un miembro de salida que tiene un pasaje para aire de núcleo central que comunica con el pasaje central cilíndrico del cuerpo tubular y dispuesto dentro del pasaje junto a la salida, definiendo la pared exterior del miembro de salida un pasaje de barrido de contaminantes generalmente anular dentro del pasaje central cilíndrico del cuerpo tubular a través del cual pasan partículas contaminantes, mientras que el aire de núcleo junto al centro del pasaje pasa a través del pasaje para aire de núcleo central del miembro de salida; y una segunda agrupación que elimina partículas contaminantes más ligeras y soportadas en aerosol y que comprende una pluralidad de láminas superpuestas de material filamentoso que definen a su través pasajes de una cara a otra de la agrupación, dispuestas en comunicación de circulación con los pasajes de aire de núcleo de los miembros de salida de los limpiadores de aire por torbellino en la primera agrupación, comprendiendo las láminas monofilamentos que tienen un diámetro dentro del margen de aproximadamente 0,127 a aproximadamente 8,89 mm, y estando comprimidas sustancialmente por todo este área de superficie hasta un diámetro máximo de poros, por debajo de aproximadamente 5 mm, bajo una presión dentro del margen de aproximadamente 0,07 a aproximadante 7 kg/cm2, de manera tal que la caída de presión a través de una porción de 0,1516 metros cuadrados de la agrupación con un caudal normalizado de aire de 82.919 litros por minuto a 25ºC, está dentro del margen de aproximadamente 12,7 a aproximadamente 76,2 mm de columna de agua, estando los filamentos en las superficies de contacto de las capas interiores en contacto a presión entre sí, sustancialmente a todo lo largo de las mismas, mediante tal compresión.
