Abstract
Procedimiento para el tratamiento de aguas residuales de proceso altamente contaminadas con amonio en el sector de las aguas residuales, por tratamiento de las aguas residuales con microorganismos nitrificadores (nitrificantes) en presencia de una sustancia de soporte suspendida, añadiendo a las aguas residuales, y suspendiendo en ellas, una sustancia de soporte de silicato o sustancia de soporte finamente dividida que contenga carbono, con una superficie especfica de > 20 m 2 /g, preferentemente de > 50 m 2 /g, y sometiendo eventualmente las aguas residuales nitrificadas a una desnitrificación con microorganismos desnitrificadores (desnitrificantes), y presentando la sustancia de soporte de silicato un volumen de expansión de 5 a 80 ml/2 g, y la sustancia de grano no que contiene carbono, un valor del pH de superficie de aproximadamente 6 a 9.
