Abstract
LOS DISPOSITIVOS USUALES PARA LA EXTRACCION DE NITROGENO DE LOS GASES DE ESCAPE DE UN MOTOR DE COMBUSTION (4), QUE TRABAJAN SEGUN EL PRINCIPIO DE LA REDUCCION CATALITICA SELECTIVA, PREVEEN UN DEPOSITO DE RESERVA (14) CONDUCIDO EN EL VEHICULO, POR EJEMPLO, PARA UNA SOLUCION ACUOSA DE UREA (16). EL AMONIACO QUE SE FORMA CON EL CALENTAMIENTO DE LA SOLUCION ACUOSA DE UREA EN EL DEPOSITO DE RESERVA, USUALMENTE SE EXPULSA A LA ATMOSFERA PARA DESCARGAR DE PRESION EL DEPOSITO DE RESERVA. ESTA LIBERACION DE AMONIACO ES PERJUDICIAL, PUES EL AMONIACO ES VENENOSO E INCLUSO EN PEQUEÑAS CONCENTRACIONES REPRESENTA UNA MOLESTIA POR OLORES DESAGRADABLES PARA LAS PERSONAS. DE ACUERDO CON LA INVENCION ESTA PREVISTO PARA ESTO CONECTAR UNA TUBERIA DE DESCARGA DE PRESION (18), POR MEDIO DE LA CUAL SE CONDUCE EL AMONIACO EXCEDENTE AL CATALIZADOR DENOX (8) Y SE COMBINA CON EL MATERIAL CATALITICO. LA INVENCION SE PUEDE MONTAR, EN PRINCIPIO, EN CADA DISPOSITIVO PARA LA EXTRACCION DE NITROGENO DE LOS GASES DE ESCAPEDE UN MOTOR DE COMBUSTION.
