LA PRESENTE INVENCION SE REFIERE A UN PROCESO DE TRATAMIENTO DE UNA SEÑAL DE VIDEO CODIFICADA EN FORMA DE BLOQUES DE K PALABRAS, ESTANDO ESCRITO DICHA SEÑAL EN O LEIDA A PARTIR DE DOS MEMORIAS DE TRAMA (FM1, FM2) QUE COMPRENDEN CADA UNA UN PUERTO DE ENTRADA, UN PUERTO DE SALIDA DE VELOCIDAD RAPIDA Y UN PUERTO DE SALIDA DE VELOCIDAD LENTA. SEGUN ESTE PROCESO, LA SEÑAL DE VIDEO NUMERICA EN LA ENTRADA SE FORMA POR CONJUNTOS DE M'' BLOQUES CON N'' BLOQUES QUE CONTIENEN DATOS DE LUMINOSIDAD (Y1, Y2,...) Y M''-N'' BLOQUES QUE CONTIENEN DATOS DE CROMINANCIA (C1, C2,...), ESTANDO INSCRITOS LOS BLOQUES QUE CONTIENEN LOS DATOS DE CROMINANCIA (C1) EN LA PRIMERA MEMORIA (FM1) Y LOS BLOQUES QUE CONTIENEN LOS DATOS DE CROMINANCIA (Y1) INSCRITOS EN LA SEGUNDA MEMORIA (FM2), ESTANDO INVERTIDAS EN CADA TRAMA LAS MEMORIAS.
