Description

The invention relates to an installation arrangement for fixing a parapet element, in particular for a balcony parapet. The invention also relates to a fastening profile for this.

When manufacturing balcony parapets, parapets for roof terraces or other fall protection, it is common for a large number of openings to be made in the insulation and/or a sealing layer made of tar paper, for example, during assembly. In practice, this causes problems with cold bridges and leaks, which can lead to moisture problems.

Fastening profiles for a balcony parapet, as well as corresponding installation arrangements for fixing a parapet element are made of EP2597220A1 , DE10338816B3 , EP3122955A1 and DE102016007268A1 known.

The object of the present invention is to provide an improved installation arrangement for fixing parapet elements and a fastening profile therefor.

To solve the problem, the invention has the features of patent claim 1.

Accordingly, a fastening profile for a balcony parapet provides a fastening section and a cantilever section. The fastening section has a contact element which is designed to attach the fastening profile to a mounting surface of a building, for example to a wall, a floor or the like. For example, a contact surface and/or a contact edge which is at least partially flat is provided as a contact element. The fastening section also provides through-holes which serve to accommodate fastening means. Fastening means which can be used include screws and dowels, suitable anchors or the like. The cantilever section protrudes from the fastening section on a side opposite the contact element. It is designed to be elongated in a longitudinal direction with respect to a profile cross-section. The cantilever section can be solid with respect to the profile cross-section or can provide a framework-like structure.

The particular advantage of the invention is that the fastening profile according to the invention can be attached to the mounting surface of the building during the shell construction, with the cantilever arm protruding from the building. After the fastening profile has been installed, an insulating layer can be built up or a sealing surface can be produced. Only the cantilever arm section of the fastening profile protrudes above the insulation or the seal. The part of the cantilever arm section protruding from the insulation or seal serves to accommodate the other components of the balcony parapet. The fastening section and the fastening means assigned to the fastening section are located behind the insulating or sealing layer and do not penetrate it, which means that the ingress of moisture is prevented and cold bridges are avoided.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the cantilever section is oriented perpendicular to the contact surface with respect to the longitudinal direction. In particular, through-holes extending transversely to the longitudinal direction are provided on the cantilever section. The perpendicular orientation of the cantilever section to the contact surface simplifies the assembly of the fastening profile according to the invention and in particular also the processing of the insulation or the sealing layer. The provision of the through-holes on the Cantilever section ensures that moisture collecting on the cantilever section can drain away.

According to the invention, the fastening section of the fastening profile has a plurality of profile chambers, which can have a rectangular basic shape in relation to the cross section of the fastening profile and serve to accommodate the fastening means in sections. The fastening profile according to the invention advantageously has a high level of stability due to the rectangular profile chambers. In addition, the fastening profile with the rectangular profile chambers can be manufactured relatively easily by machine as an extruded profile. In addition, an insulating or sealing layer can be easily worked onto the fastening profile.

According to a further development of the invention, the contact surface encloses the through-hole for the fastening means. This advantageously means that the fastening profile is fixed to the structure directly where the contact surface is placed against the correspondingly shaped mounting surface of the structure.

According to a further development of the invention, the contact surface is designed to be interrupted. In particular, each profile chamber provides a part of the contact surface. The segmentation of the contact surface advantageously results in improved tolerance compensation. Unevennesses in the area of the assembly surface of the structure in particular can be better compensated for in this way. In addition, the segmentation of the contact surface is thermally advantageous.

According to a further development which lies outside the invention, mounting recesses are provided on the profile chambers opposite the through-holes for the fastening means, which are designed in such a way that the fastening means can be inserted and mounted in the through-holes through the mounting recesses. In particular, the mounting recesses can be designed to be larger than the through-holes. This advantageously simplifies the installation of the fastening means. At the same time, the fastening means are provided in the profile chambers, with the result that they do not have to be laboriously covered and/or recessed when working on the insulation or seal.

Optionally, the mounting recesses can be closed after the fastening elements have been inserted. For example, plugs or a sealing plug can be inserted into the mounting recesses.

According to the invention, the profile chambers are formed by attaching U-shaped cap profiles, which are elongated in the longitudinal direction, to a profile support web of the fastening section. The cantilever section protrudes from the profile support web of the fastening section. The profile support web is preferably oriented perpendicular to the cantilever section with respect to the cross section of the fastening profile. The profile support web forms the fastening section together with the profile chambers. The manufacture of the fastening profile is advantageously simplified if the profile chambers are formed by connecting separately manufactured cap profiles to the profile support web or attaching them to it.

According to a further development of the invention, the cap profiles are made of aluminum or a plastic material. The cap profiles can advantageously be produced inexpensively as plastic profiles in large quantities. In addition, profiles that have previously been used for other purposes, such as plastic profiles for cable ducts, can be used. The aluminum profiles are very robust and can withstand high local thermal stress when the roofer or another craftsman creates the waterproof layer on site.

According to a further development of the invention, the profile beam web and the cantilever section are made in one piece from a metallic material, for example aluminum or steel. Alternatively, the cantilever section and the fastening section or profile beam web can be manufactured separately and then connected in the factory or on site. For example, the cap profiles and the cantilever section can be made in one piece and mounted on the profile beam web.

The profile beam web and the cantilever section together form a support for the fastening profile. Together with the cap profiles, the beam defines the fastening profile. The beam is preferably implemented as an extruded profile and particularly preferably as an aluminum extruded profile.

According to a further development of the invention, all cap profiles of the fastening profile are designed in the same way. This further reduces costs and the logistical effort for procurement and storage.

According to a further development of the invention, the profile support web provides the contact element on a side opposite the cap profiles. This advantageously simplifies assembly, since the profile support web is first positioned with the contact element first on the assembly surface of the structure and then secured using the fastening means. The cap profiles can then be attached later.

According to a further development of the invention, the cap profiles are detachably connected to the profile support web. The detachable connection of the cap profiles to the profile support web simplifies the assembly and disassembly of the fastening profile, since the fastening means in particular are easily accessible before assembly or after disassembly of the cap profiles. The provision of assembly recesses on the profile chambers can be dispensed with.

According to a further development of the invention, a mounting contour is formed on a free end of the cantilever section facing away from the fastening section, which extends longitudinally transversely to the longitudinal direction of the cantilever section in a profile extension direction of the fastening profile. By providing the mounting contour at the free end of the cantilever section, another component of the balcony parapet can advantageously be positioned precisely on the fastening profile according to the invention. The mounting contour therefore simplifies assembly.

According to a further development of the invention, the fastening section and the cantilever section of the fastening profile are designed symmetrically, whereas the fastening profile itself is designed asymmetrically. Advantageously, the The fastening profile can be mounted in two different orientations, meaning that the same fastening profile can be used for different installation situations.

To solve the problem, the invention has the features of patent claim 11. Accordingly, an installation arrangement for securing a parapet element comprises an elongated fastening profile with a contact surface that is at least partially flat and is designed to attach the fastening profile to a mounting surface of a building, and with a cantilever section that is provided opposite the contact surface in relation to a cross section of the fastening profile. Furthermore, the installation arrangement according to the invention comprises an elongated parapet profile that, in an assembled state, is attached to the cantilever section of the fastening profile and is supported by it. The parapet profile has a slot-shaped opening on a side facing away from the cantilever section of the fastening profile. It serves to accommodate the parapet element, which is formed, for example, by a safety glass pane. Correspondingly shaped mounting contours are formed on the cantilever section of the fastening profile and the parapet profile, which are shaped in such a way that the parapet profile can be attached to the fastening profile in a precise position.

The particular advantage of the invention is that the multi-part installation arrangement can significantly simplify the manufacture of a balcony parapet. In particular, the fastening profile is first mounted on the structure. Further work can then be carried out, for example on the facade of the structure. For example, thermal insulation can be provided. The cantilever section of the installation arrangement according to the invention partially protrudes beyond the insulation. The parapet profile can then be positioned precisely on the part of the cantilever section that protrudes beyond the insulation. A complex and damaging breakthrough of the already produced insulation or a sealing layer can thus be avoided. In addition, after assembly, the production of the seal or insulation and the attachment of the parapet profile, the fastening profile according to the invention is so concealed and installed inside that it does not have to be specially protected, covered or taped during the construction phase.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, a first mounting contour provided on the fastening profile is formed as a raised formation which extends transversely to a longitudinal direction of the cantilever section. The parapet profile, on the other hand, has a mounting groove as a correspondingly shaped second mounting contour.

According to a further development of the invention, the installation arrangement provides a panel which is fixed to the parapet profile on a side opposite the contact surface and is placed against the fastening profile. In particular, the panel is placed on the front side against the cantilever section of the fastening profile. For example, it can be provided that the panel is formed into a hook shape on one long side and, in the assembled state, is inserted from above into a longitudinal recess in the parapet profile or engages behind a mounting edge formed on the parapet profile. The longitudinal recess or the mounting edge is preferably located next to the slot-shaped opening that the parapet profile provides for receiving the parapet element. The provision of the panel advantageously provides an easy-to-manufacture and visually appealing finish for the balcony parapet. The panel can be manufactured inexpensively from aluminum and/or as sheet metal, for example.

Dabei umgibt die Anlagefläche 6 die Durchgangsausnehmungen 15.The Figures 5 and 6 show an embodiment of the installation arrangement with a multi-part fastening profile 1. The fastening profile 1 provides a T-shaped support 36 and three U-shaped cap profiles 32, 33, 34. The support 36 forms the cantilever section 4 and a profile support web 35, which provides the contact surface 6. The profile support web 35, together with the cap profiles 32, 33, 34, corresponds to the fastening section 3 of the fastening profile 1 according to the Fig.3 and 4 . In addition to the contact surface 6, the profile support section 35 provides the through-holes 15 for the fastening means 14. The contact surface 6 surrounds the through-holes 15.

The profile support web 35 and the cantilever arm section 4 are made in one piece. In the present case, the support 36 is made of a metallic material, preferably aluminum or steel, and the cap profiles 32, 33, 34 are made of plastic. The support 36 is particularly preferably made as an aluminum extruded part.

The profile support web 35 and the cap profiles 32, 33, 34 have correspondingly shaped connecting contours 37, 38 for connecting them, which extend in the longitudinal direction 5. In the present case, it is provided that a connecting contour 37 formed on the cap profiles 32, 33, 34 provides a locking lug. The locking lug contour 37 is formed on the outside of the free, opposite legs of the U-shaped cap profiles 32, 33, 34. In the assembled state, it engages in a receiving groove of a connecting contour 38 formed on the profile support web 35, which is provided on a side of the profile support web 35 opposite the contact surface 6. Due to the flexibility of the cap profiles 32, 33, 34, it is possible to assemble or disassemble them quickly and without tools.

In order to mount the fastening profile 1, the support 36 is placed with the profile support web 35 and the contact surface 6 provided on it at the front onto the mounting surface 7 of the wall 8 and secured thereto using the fastening means 14. Since the cap profiles 32, 33, 34 are not yet attached to the profile support web 35 of the fastening profile 1, the fastening means 14 are easily accessible and assembly can be carried out in a simple manner.

In a subsequent assembly step, the parapet profile 20 with the seals 34, 35, the parapet element 23 and the cover 30 are mounted. The cap profiles 32, 33, 34 are then attached to the profile support web 35 so that the profile chambers 9, 10, 11 are formed in a known manner and accommodate a free end region of the fastening means 14. The order of these assembly steps is chosen here as an example; it can be reversed.

The thermal insulation can then be manufactured and attached to the profile chambers 32, 33, 34, the cantilever section 4 and the parapet profile 20.
