Accessibility from opposite sides allows maintenance on the control electronics from a separate room, ie the service technician does not have to enter the room where the bank employees perform corresponding service work.
- the said safe door 32 can also be arranged on a side opposite the door of the first safe area 20.
- the arrangement of the doors on opposite sides is particularly advantageous if the device is integrated into a building wall or a wall, in particular walled in, so that the door arrangement on opposite sides allows accessibility of different building spaces ago.
- the second vault area 30 and the first vault area 20 are directly adjacent to one another, so that corresponding vault walls 21 and 33 adjoin one another, cf. Fig. 2 ,
- the PC or computer 11 arranged in the interior of the second vault area 30 contains the control electronics which control the money-handling units of the first vault area 20.
- the computer 11 is connected by a connecting line 17 to the controlling units of the first vault 20, wherein said connecting line 17 is passed through a through-hole 40 passing through the walls of the two vault areas 20 and 30 and said two vault areas 20 and 30 connects with each other.
- the said through-hole 40 is, of course, made so small that it offers no possibility for manipulation of the one vault area from the other vault area.
- said connecting line 17 is advantageously provided in the region of said through-passage 40 with a releasable interface 18, so that the connecting line 17 between the two safe areas 20 and 30 can be separated.
- a cable can be exchanged in the second safe area 30 without having to open the first safe area 20 for this purpose.
- Said interface 18 is advantageously designed and / or arranged such that when working on the line section in a vault area no access to the cable section in the other vault area is necessary and possible.
- said interface 18 may comprise two coupling parts 18a and 18b detachably connectable to each other and sunk respectively in the through-hole 40 and held by a holder such that disengagement or connection of one coupling part does not cause manipulation or handling at the other Coupling part required.
- the coupling parts 18a and 18b can each be fixed sunk by a latching connection in the through-hole 40, for example, so that the line part in the upper vault area can be pulled out or inserted from above without having to hold the lower line part in the lower vault area.
- Said holder for the coupling parts 18 can advantageously be designed such that a release of the respective coupling part 18a or 18b is only possible from the side to which the line piece fastened to the respective coupling part 18a or 18b goes off, ie according to FIG Fig. 2 the upper coupling part 18a can only be detached from above, while the lower coupling part 18b can only be detached from below.
- This can be achieved for example by appropriately arranged locking tongues or the like, which are arranged accessible only from one side.
- all monetary or value stocks are accommodated within the certified safe area 20.
- the service and operating area 10 the second safe area 30 and the first safe area 20 are in particular physically separated in terms of safety, they are nevertheless accommodated in a device 100.
- the two safe areas 20 and 30 can be separated and replaced with each other and / or individually or together with the operator and service area 10 by releasing connections.
- This can be made possible for example by a thread and / or a screw connection, for example in the form of a screw bolt in the safe area 20 and / or in the safe area 30.
- the two safe areas 20 and 30 and the operator and service area 10 also have different locking systems.
- the device 100 shown in the figures can be designed as a columnar freestanding device. In a further development of the invention, however, it can also be designed as a built-in device, which can be walled, for example, in a building wall, so that essentially only the in Fig. 1 shown back and the opposite front are accessible from different sides of the wall.

Description
The invention relates to a device for managing, receiving and / or dispensing valuables, in particular money, with a closed vault area and an operator and service area, wherein both all valuables and the controlling units of the vault area substantially completely in the vault area, preferably a certified vault, are arranged and arranged substantially all control electronics in operator and service area, the vault area and the operator and service area have separate locking systems.
From the state of the art ATMs, cash machines, cash machines and vending machines have long been known.
An ATM is a technical facility for cash management. The subdivision is carried out in cash dispensers (ATM), cash deposit machines and automatic cash recycling machines. ATMs are also called ATMs. ATMs allow customers to self-service cash withdraw or deposit cash from their checking or credit card account. Give some machines Foreign currency or inform the customer about the balance and past transactions. The devices are often operated by banks.
To solve the problem, the customer puts a debit or credit card in the machine and enters a PIN. An authorization center checks the correctness of the PIN online and decides whether the payment can be made.
New generation ATMs also allow you to deposit cash. The process is similar to the withdrawal of money; The customer puts his customer card in the machine, then opens a money input shaft, the money is immediately checked for authenticity and the customer is credited to his account. This allows the bank to allow customers to deposit cash even outside office hours and saves themselves the high staff costs of a night safe. If the ATM masters cash recycling, the money paid in by the customer is checked and repaid to subsequent customers, which allows the bank to reduce the cost of filling the machine.
Such money management devices usually have a certified vault area (for example, CEN3) in which part of the money is and will be accommodated, as well as another area in which the other components of the device are accommodated and which will hereafter be called the operator and service area.
Frequently, the machines are equipped with a receipt for receipts or, for example, with a statement printer. For this purpose, a printer is installed in the ATM, money changer, cash machine or vending machine, which generates the receipt or statement and then outputs to the customer.
Furthermore, a computer or PC for operating the device is usually also provided in the device.
During the product cycle, servicing the various elements of an ATM, such as the printer or the computer, becomes necessary. This can be, for example, the refilling of printer paper, software updates or else the replacement of the elements as a whole.
In the mentioned devices, the service access for the printer is usually arranged so that the service requires the opening of the device. By opening the device, it is possible that the service staff has the opportunity to access in unauthorized manner to cash or other internals of the machine or to explore them. It has therefore already been proposed that both all valuables and also the controlling units of the safe area, such as, for example, a hopper or banknote collection and / or dispensing mechanism, and their electrical supply lines are arranged substantially completely in the vault area, preferably a certified vault. while essentially all control electronics such as PC, printer, power supply in the operator and service area is arranged. Advantageously, the vault area and the operator and service area have separate locking systems.
Accordingly, the certified safe housing only has to be opened when arranged in this area money or value-preserving or -führender parts must be maintained. In this case, different service personnel can be provided. For the more frequent and less safety-related maintenance and service work in the operator and service area, ordinary service personnel could be used, while for the less frequently occurring maintenance and service work in the certified vault other, if necessary, specially trained and trusted service personnel can be used.

The aforementioned operator and service area is hereby opened very frequently to wait for the statement printer and / or the receipt printer. Often, the corresponding paper stocks, such as bank statement forms or receipt paper roles are exchanged or supplemented here. Similarly, the printers regularly replace the ink or toner cartridges. Due to the resulting frequency of access often also unmonitored personnel access or maintenance is no longer really carefully monitored.
In this case, it has been shown that the control arranged in the operator and service area is susceptible to manipulation. On the one hand, there is the risk that the controlling units of the vault area are actuated directly during service work by accessing the control electronics in the operator and service area. Dangerous, as well as by monitoring the service worker barely controllable, meanwhile, is a manipulation of the control electronics to the effect that, for example, by loading software, the card readers are manipulated such that are accepted in themselves unauthorized debit or credit cards with also unverified PIN numbers, so that time-delayed to the actual service work at a later date can be easily withdrawn by entering the unauthorized debit or credit card money.
The invention is therefore based on the object in a device for managing, receiving and / or dispensing of valuables of the type mentioned disadvantages of the prior art to avoid and to develop the latter in an advantageous manner. In particular, a service access to the service and controls is to be ensured without the cash can be accessed.
This object is achieved by the feature combination specified in claim 1. Preferred embodiments of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims.
It is therefore proposed that the control electronics and their connecting lines, via which the controlling units of the vault area are controlled, be removed from the access of the servicing and service area and the service staff working there and stored separately in a separate, protected location. According to the invention, a second vault area is provided in which the control electronics are arranged to control the controlling units of the first vault area, said second vault area being separated from both the first vault area for receiving the valuables and the remaining server and service area, and one of Having the locking systems of the first vault and the operator and service area separate locking system. By blocking the control electronics for the value-processing controls in a separate second safe area, which is separately closable, no manipulation of the control electronics can be done in the daily maintenance in the rest of the operator and service area more. In particular, the at least one printer and the paper supplies for printing out the account statements and / or the receipts are arranged in said remaining operator and service area, so that when replacing the printer cartridges and filling the paper supplies no access to the control electronics is possible. The access to the control electronics is only possible and possibly under appropriate supervision by opening the second safe area possible, in which case it is simultaneously ensured that the first Vault area with the valuables recorded therein remains access-free, while conversely, access to the control electronics is not possible when accessing the first vault area, for example, to fill the funds arranged therein. The separate arrangement of the control electronics in a second vault area, the security problem can be further improved.
In a further development of the invention, the second vault area can be integrated into the operator and service area or form part of it, but it can just be separated from the remaining part of said operator and service area and secured by a separate locking system. The second vault area may form an area within the operator and service area. For example, the entire operator and service area can be closed by a service door, behind which then a part of the operator and service area and the door of the second vault area are arranged, so that the door of the second vault area only after opening the door of the operator and service area can be opened. Alternatively or additionally, however, the second vault area may also be separately accessible, i. have access to the safe door regardless of the operator's and service area's locking system and / or door independently accessible from the door of the operator and service area. According to a development of the invention, the second vault area can have a vault door which can be opened from another side of the device than the door of the operator and service area. In particular, the vault door of the second vault area and the door of the server and service area can be opened from opposite sides. The named safe door of the second safe area can be designed, for example, in the form of a flap which makes the second safe area accessible from a front side of the device.
In order to prevent a "tapping" of the control via the connecting cable or a direct manipulation of the controlling units of the first vault area, according to the invention advantageously no freely accessible from the operator and service area connection cable between the control electronics provided in the second vault area and the controlling units of the first vault area.
According to the invention, connecting lines, preferably in the form of a cable harness, are provided between the control electronics in the second safe area and the controlling units in the first safe area, wherein the at least one connecting line is advantageously completely accommodated in the first and second safe areas. Advantageously, for this purpose, the first and second vault areas adjacent to each other and / or adjacent to each other and separated only by each of the Tresorbereichswandungen, so that the connection line is passed through a passage opening in the Tresorbereichswandungen or a common Tresorbereichswandung between the two vault areas.
According to the invention, it is provided that the at least one connecting line between the control electronics in the second safe area and the controlling units of the first safe area has a detachable connection interface, for example in the form of a contact plug, which is arranged in the area between the first safe area and the second safe area. By such a detachable interface corresponding maintenance or repair work can be performed on the connecting lines, without requiring access to both vault areas simultaneously. For example, to replace a damaged cable in the second vault area, this can be done by loosening the interface and reconnecting to the cable replacement, without having to open the first vault area.
In the aforementioned second safe area advantageously the PC of the control electronics is housed, which controls the one hand, the controlling units of the vault area such as hopper and / or bill collection / output plant and on the other hand, the service area associated with other electronic device components such as printer, screen, card reader, Secret code interrogation units and the like controls.
It has proven to be particularly advantageous if, in a device of the type mentioned, all elements not accommodated in the first and / or second vault area are arranged as close together as possible in the operator and service area. Such an embodiment leads to the smallest possible space requirement.
Furthermore, it has also proven to be advantageous if the operator and service area and / or the second vault area can be separated from the first vault area.
In such an embodiment, it is then possible that the operator and service area is possibly completely interchangeable, or more complex maintenance work can also be performed at a different location and the much larger and significantly heavier vault area can remain on site. Advantageously, the first vault area can also be separated from the second vault area in order to only have to remove the second vault area for more complex maintenance work on the control electronics, for which the aforementioned detachable interface of the connection line is advantageous. Alternatively or additionally, it can also be provided that the control electronics are detachably received in the second safe area.
According to a further preferred embodiment of the present invention, substantially all the control electronics, such as PC and power supply except the printer, are arranged in the second safe area, while said printer and its paper supply are arranged in the operator and service area separate from the second safe area.
It is particularly advantageous if components with a higher maintenance frequency are arranged more easily accessible than components with a lower maintenance frequency. For example, the relatively service-intensive printer can be easily accessible, while components that usually rarely require maintenance or service, such as the power supply, may be arranged slightly more difficult to access. For example, if access is made to the operator and service area from the back, then the printer could be located at the very front, while the less often needed component can be further positioned toward the front of the device.
According to a further preferred embodiment of the present invention, the first vault area, the second vault area and the operator and service area form a unit in an operational state of the device.
The device described can be designed for example as an ATM, cash machine and / or vending machine.
