Definitions
- the invention is based on a device for depositing and paying out cash using at least two ATMs.
- ATMs are self-service devices used to deposit cash by a customer into a bank account and / or to pay cash to a customer and debit the cash paid out of an account.
- ATMs with which only the deposit of money is possible. They are also referred to as cash deposit machines, deposit systems or deposit systems.
- ATMs that only allow the payment of cash They are also referred to as cash dispensers.
- ATMs that allow both cash deposit and cash withdrawal are also referred to as cash recycling machines.
- the ATMs may be equipped with other units that allow the automatic settlement of banking transactions, such as print a bank statement or to initiate a transfer.
- the customer To conduct money or banking transactions and retrieve customer-specific information, the customer must identify himself to the self-service device. This is done, for example, the input of a check, credit or debit card together with a PIN, which is abbreviated as PIN. Furthermore, the customer may identify himself by biometric recognition features.
- Such ATMs are located, for example, in the offices of banks and credit institutions, in shopping malls, railway stations, airports and other public areas. Cash deposits at ATMs are predominantly made by business customers, while cash withdrawals are predominantly made to private customers.
- the use of ATMs is also influenced by their positioning. While customers prefer to deposit especially larger amounts of money for security reasons an ATM in a closed space, customers use to pay for cash like ATMs that are arranged, for example, on the outside of a bank or in any other publicly available area. ATMs in the lobby or in the foyer of a bank are therefore mainly used for depositing cash and ATMs in the outskirts of a bank mainly for withdrawing cash.
- a balanced as possible deposit and Ausierevolumen is sought in order to dispense with filling or emptying the ATM by bank employees.
- Time and cost intensive filling and emptying processes should be reduced to a minimum.
- a one-sided cash deposit or withdrawal triggered by the positioning of an ATM means that ATMs, including those with cash recycling, must be filled or emptied by bank employees.
- the use of cash dispensers in the outside area of a bank and money deposit machines in the interior of the bank is also disadvantageous, since even in this case, the ATMs have to be regularly filled or emptied by bank employees.
- the object is achieved by a device having the features of claim 1.
- This is characterized by the fact that it has a rotatable about a vertical axis unit and at least two cash recycling machines for cash and / or cash.

- the device may be integrated, for example, in a wall or other part of the building of a bank.
- first cash recycling machine on the outside of the bank and a second cash-recycling machine of the device on the building interior of the bank facing side of the wall , Due to this positioning, cash is preferably paid out at the first cash recycling machine and cash is preferably paid in at the second cash recycling machine. After a certain period of time, a number of transactions or a predetermined amount of cash paid or paid out, the first cash recycling machine has only a small amount of cash left and the second cash recycling machine is filled with cash. Now the device is rotated and the positions of the first and second cash recycling machines are reversed.
- the device is in a second setting, in which the first cash recycling machine is arranged on the inside of the wall and the second cash recycling machine on the outside of the wall. Now cash can be withdrawn from the filled second cash recycling machine on the outside of the wall and cash can be deposited in the almost empty first cash recycling machine on the inside of the wall.
- the second setting is retained until the time, number of transactions or amounts paid in and paid out for the interchanging of the positions is met. Then the device is turned again and the positions of the cash recycling machines are reversed again.
- the device is then in the first setting described above.
- the first and second settings of the device are also referred to as first and second end positions.
- locking bolts may be provided which connect the rotatable unit with the unit surrounding the building part.
- the device There may be integrated in the device two, three, four or more cash recycling machines. Particularly advantageous is in a wall or other part of the building, which delimits two rooms from each other or a room from the environment of a building, an even number, since in this case in each setting of the device on both sides of a wall or other part of the building the same number Cash recycling machines are arranged. If, however, several walls or building parts meet, which delimit several rooms or areas from one another, the number of cash recycling machines can be adapted to the number of mutually delimited rooms or areas. In this case, there are a corresponding number of end positions of the device.
- the rotatable unit on a plate on which the cash recycling machines are arranged Care must be taken to ensure that there is sufficient space in the wall or other part of the building to turn the unit.
- parts of the wall or of the other part of the building may be displaceable in order to provide a sufficiently large opening for rotating the device.
- the opening can be closed again when the process of turning is completed and the cash recycling machines are in one of the predetermined end positions.
- the plate is arranged round and horizontal.
- the axis of the rotatable unit passes through the center of the plate.
- the round shape is particularly suitable for turning.
- the plate is circular. The axis passing through the center of the plate ensures that the plate needs the same distance or radius when turning to all sides.
- the rotatable unit has a housing, in which the cash recycling machines are integrated.
- This housing can either be arranged on a plate as stated above, or enclose the cash recycling machines themselves at the bottom.
- the housing protects the cash recycling machines from damage and manipulation by third parties. This is particularly important in cash recycling machines that are located on the outside of a building.

Abstract
Description
The invention is based on a device for depositing and paying out cash using at least two ATMs.
Ferner kann sich der Kunde durch biometrische Erkennungsmerkmale ausweisen.ATMs are self-service devices used to deposit cash by a customer into a bank account and / or to pay cash to a customer and debit the cash paid out of an account. There are ATMs with which only the deposit of money is possible. They are also referred to as cash deposit machines, deposit systems or deposit systems. In addition, there are ATMs that only allow the payment of cash. They are also referred to as cash dispensers. ATMs that allow both cash deposit and cash withdrawal are also referred to as cash recycling machines. The ATMs may be equipped with other units that allow the automatic settlement of banking transactions, such as print a bank statement or to initiate a transfer. To conduct money or banking transactions and retrieve customer-specific information, the customer must identify himself to the self-service device. This is done, for example, the input of a check, credit or debit card together with a PIN, which is abbreviated as PIN. Furthermore, the customer may identify himself by biometric recognition features.
Such ATMs are located, for example, in the offices of banks and credit institutions, in shopping malls, railway stations, airports and other public areas. Cash deposits at ATMs are predominantly made by business customers, while cash withdrawals are predominantly made to private customers. The use of ATMs is also influenced by their positioning. At ATMs with cash recycling, however, a balanced as possible deposit and Auszahlvolumen is sought in order to dispense with filling or emptying the ATM by bank employees. Time and cost intensive filling and emptying processes should be reduced to a minimum. A one-sided cash deposit or withdrawal triggered by the positioning of an ATM means that ATMs, including those with cash recycling, must be filled or emptied by bank employees. The use of cash dispensers in the outside area of a bank and money deposit machines in the interior of the bank is also disadvantageous, since even in this case, the ATMs have to be regularly filled or emptied by bank employees.
It is therefore an object of the invention to provide a device for depositing and disbursing cash available, with a high cash balance between cash payment and cash payment is achieved and thus largely dispensed with the filling and emptying of cash by, for example, bank employees at this device can be.
The object is achieved by a device having the features of
In order to prevent unauthorized persons from being able to turn the device, the device is locked in the end positions. For this purpose, locking bolts may be provided which connect the rotatable unit with the unit surrounding the building part.
There may be integrated in the device two, three, four or more cash recycling machines.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the rotatable unit on a plate on which the cash recycling machines are arranged. Care must be taken to ensure that there is sufficient space in the wall or other part of the building to turn the unit. For this purpose, for example, parts of the wall or of the other part of the building may be displaceable in order to provide a sufficiently large opening for rotating the device. The opening can be closed again when the process of turning is completed and the cash recycling machines are in one of the predetermined end positions. In addition, it is possible to move the entire device initially completely on one of the two sides of the wall or the other part of the building, then to turn and finally push back into the intended opening in the wall or the other part of the building. In this case, all that is needed an opening in the wall or other part of the building that is as big or slightly larger than the cash recycling machine.
According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the plate is arranged round and horizontal. The axis of the rotatable unit passes through the center of the plate. The round shape is particularly suitable for turning. Particularly preferably, the plate is circular. The axis passing through the center of the plate ensures that the plate needs the same distance or radius when turning to all sides.
According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the rotatable unit has a housing, in which the cash recycling machines are integrated. This housing can either be arranged on a plate as stated above, or enclose the cash recycling machines themselves at the bottom. The housing protects the cash recycling machines from damage and manipulation by third parties. This is particularly important in cash recycling machines that are located on the outside of a building. The housing can enclose the cash recycling machines on two, three, four, five or six sides. It is essential that the facilities provided for the cash deposit and / or payout at the cash recycling machine are accessible by the customer. Furthermore, the cash recycling machines must be accessible to bank employees and other authorized persons for maintenance purposes.
According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the housing has a cylindrical shape with cutouts for the cash recycling machines. A cylindrical shape with a circular base is particularly suitable for rotating the device. In addition, other types of housing are possible.
According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, an electric drive for rotating the rotatable unit is provided. This facilitates the process of turning, to which large forces are necessary due to the weight of cash recycling machines.
According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the cash recycling machines have a device for dispensing money to the customer and / or a device for cash input for the customer. The cash recycling machines are aligned with your facilities for cash dispensing and / or money input facing away from the vertical axis of the rotary unit. The side of cash recycling machines equipped with facilities for cash dispensing and / or cash input is also referred to as front or front. The side facing away from the front is referred to as the back of the cash recycling machines. Preferably, the cash recycling machines are oriented so that the back faces the vertical axis. The alignment ensures that the cash recycling machines are accessible to customers in the designated positions of the cash deposit and payout device. Furthermore, the back of the cash recycling machine is protected, reducing the risk of damage or tampering by third parties. The cash recycling machines can touch your backs or have a gap between your backs.
According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the device is equipped with a frame which can be integrated into a part of a building, for example a wall. This frame is not rotated with the rotatable unit and the cash recycling machine. The frame at least partially receives the vertical axis about which the rotatable unit is rotated. This can either be a continuous axis or a stub axle. The frame may further be provided with elements which are displaceable to release a sufficiently large opening for rotating the device and to accommodate the cash recycling machines in the end positions gapless in the building part. According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the cash recycling machines are accessible only in the final positions for maintenance, filling and / or emptying of cash by bank employees and other authorized persons. It is also possible, in an end position of the device, to allow accessibility only to that cash recycling machine located on the inside of a wall or building. For this purpose, the device may be equipped with special elements for blocking or locking the cash recycling machines. If the cash recycling machines are so-called rear loaders, which are accessible for maintenance, for filling and emptying from the back of the cash recycling machine, they can be pulled out of the device and then opened at the back , For frontloaders, which are accessible for maintenance, for filling and emptying at the front, the removal of the cash recycling machine from the device for the stated purposes is not necessary.
According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the vertical axis runs outside the cash recycling machines. All cash recycling machines have the same distance to the vertical axis. This ensures that all cash recycling machines claim the same space or the same radius when turning the device.
Further advantages and advantageous embodiments of the invention will become apparent from the following description, the drawings and the claims.
