Capsule pour la préparation d'une boisson, par exemple du café, comprenant un élément creux (1 ) destiné à contenir une dose (2), p. ex. de café moulu, ledit élément creux comprenant une paroi latérale, une face supérieure, une face inférieure avec au moins une membrane (4), ladite membrane étant destinée à éclater sous la pression d'un liquide introduit dans la capsule pour permettre l'écoulement du liquide à travers la dose, ladite capsule comprenant en outre un couvercle (5) avec au moins un trou, ledit trou permettant à la membrane (4) d'éclater.

MEMBRANE DESTINEE A ECLATER
Domaine de l'invention
La présente invention se situe dans le domaine de la préparation de boissons, p. ex. à base de café, par extraction d'une dose concentrée, p. ex. de café moulu, contenue dans une capsule. Elle se rapporte plus particulièrement aux doses utilisées à cet effet ainsi qu'aux dispositifs utilisant de telles doses et aux procédés mis en œuvre lors de l'utilisation de telles doses.
Etat de la technique
Des capsules et des machines fonctionnant selon le principe précité existent depuis de nombreuses décennies.
Les brevets US 2 899 886, US 2 968 560, US 3 403 617 et US 3 607 297 décrivent des dispositifs où la capsule est initialement perforée en plusieurs endroits, puis traversée par de l'eau sous pression.
D'autres capsules munies d'une membrane sont décrites dans les documents brevets suivants : EP 0 468 079 A, EP 0 806 373 A, EP 0 554 469 A.
Exposé général de l'invention
Un des objectifs de la présente invention réside dans la création d'une capsule préférablement formée de matériau biodégradable, comprenant une membrane fusible qui éclate lors de dépassement de sa résistance mécanique. La zone d'éclatement de la membrane est confinée dans un ou plusieurs trous disposés dans un couvercle qui recouvre la face externe de la membrane.
Cet objectif est réalisé avec la capsule telle que définie dans les revendications. Selon l'invention, la membrane qui éclate est avantageusement par exemple du NATUREFLEX NE30 ou NM30 ou tout autre matière.
Les différents modes d'exécution de l'invention sont décrits en référence aux figures.
Dans celles-ci, on a illustré la capsule selon l'invention qui comprend les éléments suivants:
1 : Corps de la capsule (en bio ou autre).
2: Café (ou autre produit similaire) 3: Tricot (ou tissus ou autre matière filtrante telle que papier etc.) sous forme de membrane déformable.
4: Membrane (Natureflex avec résine de soudage marier bi ou autre dessus ou dessous).
5: Couvercle (en bio ou autre). 6: Feuille de papier (ou carton ou autre).
De préférence, l'élément d'extraction de la capsule est formé de la façon suivante: Le tricot 3 et posé sur la membrane 4 qui est soudée sur un élément solide (5).
Le principe de fonctionnement est le suivant:
- L'eau rentre dans la capsule par n'importe quel procédé (aiguilles, lames, éléments auto perçants comme ceux illustrés sur la face supérieure du corps de la capsule);
- la pression monte dans la capsule; - le café extrait se filtre à travers le tricot 3;
- la pression va déformer la membrane 4 au niveau du ou des trou(s) du couvercle 5;
- le couvercle étant d'une épaisseur suffisante pour que la membrane se repose sur la base en fig. 3-5-7-9. Celle va dépasser sa résistance mécanique et éclater. - le café sous pression va donc sortir au travers du tricot 3 et passer dans les trous de la base illustrée en fig. 3-5-7-9 en dessous de la capsule. L'épaisseur du couvercle (5) peut varier selon le diamètre du trou de celui-ci ainsi que l'épaisseur et la matière de la membrane d'éclatement .
Le diamètre du ou des trou(s) du couvercle 5 peut varier en fonction de nombreux paramètres (par exemple, à titre non-limitatif): épaisseur et matières formant le tricot 3 et/ou la membrane 4 destinée à éclater, produit 2 contenu dans la capsule. On peut également prévoir plusieurs trous dans le couvercle. Les trous peuvent être alignés sur les entrées dans la capsules, ou alors décalés par rapport à celles-ci.
On peut également prévoir des affaiblissements locaux de la membranes pour faciliter son éclatement.
La forme du ou des trous peut également varier. Les figures 10 et 11 illustrent différentes possibilités. A relever qu'une forme non circulaire présente l'avantage des asymétries dans la manière de faire éclater la membrane. De telles asymétries permettent donc de mieux contrôler l'éclatement, tant du point de vue de la zone d'éclatement que de l'instant où la membrane éclate. La présence d'asymétries dans la forme du trou a le plus souvent pour conséquence de faire éclater la membrane plus rapidement que dans le cas où la section est de forme circulaire. Dans ce dernier cas, la répartition des tensions dans la membrane est en effet parfaitement homogène.
Le tout est avantageusement conçu en utilisant des matériaux par exemple biodégradables ou partiellement biodégradables. Bien entendu les modes d'exécution donnés ci-dessus le sont à titre d'exemples non-limitatifs et de modifications sont possibles dans le cadre de la présente invention. Aussi, les différentes variantes peuvent être combinées entre elles.

Claims

Revendications
1. Capsule pour la préparation d'une boisson, par exemple du café, comprenant un élément creux (1 ) destiné à contenir une dose (2), p. ex. de café moulu, ledit élément creux comprenant une paroi latérale, une face supérieure, une face inférieure avec au moins une membrane (4), ladite membrane étant destinée à éclater sous la pression d'un liquide introduit dans la capsule pour permettre l'écoulement du liquide à travers la dose, ladite capsule comprenant en outre un couvercle (5) avec au moins un trou, ledit trou permettant à la membrane (4) d'éclater.
2. Capsule selon la revendication 1 dans laquelle la membrane (4) est formée en matériau NATUREFLEX ou autre.
3. Capsule selon l'une des revendications 1 ou 2, dans laquelle un élément filtrant comme un tricot (3) ou un tissu ou un papier ou autre est disposé entre l'intérieur de la capsule et la membrane (4).
4. Capsule selon l'une des revendications précédentes dans laquelle l'élément filtrant (3) n'est pas fixé à la capsule, mais simplement disposé entre la dose et la membrane (4).
5. Capsule selon l'une des revendications 1 ou 2, dans laquelle la membrane (4) est disposée entre l'intérieur de la capsule et un élément filtrant comme un tricot (3) ou un tissu ou un papier ou autre.
6. Capsule selon l'une des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle l'élément filtrant est formé de fils de matière biodégradable, de préférence du coton ou de la soie ou autre.
7. Capsule selon l'une des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle le trou a une section circulaire.
8. Capsule selon l'une des revendications précédentes 1 à 6, dans laquelle le trou a une section en forme d'ellipse.
9. Capsule selon l'une des revendications précédentes 1 à 6, dans laquelle le trou a une section en forme de polygone.
10. Capsule selon la revendication 9, dans laquelle le polygone est convexe.
11. Capsule selon la revendication 9, dans laquelle le polygone est concave.
12. Capsule selon l'une des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle le couvercle (5) comprend plusieurs trous.
