Definitions
- the invention relates to a tourbillon, respectively a tourbillon module, as well as a movement with a tourbillon mechanism according to the preamble of the independent claims.
- the balance and the inhibiting mechanism are mounted on the turntable.
- the axle of the balance (balance wheel) is mounted wholly or at least on one side outside the bogie.
- the balance and the detent mechanism are on the same side of the platform of the bogie, resulting in a one-sided weight concentration that has some negative impact on the accuracy of the watch.
- Another disadvantage is that due to the often nested construction, the assembly and maintenance of the tourbillon make difficult.
- the balance wheel has a limited length, which has a negative effect on the load on the bearings.
- Such a tourbillon construction is, for example, from CH 691 832 A5 known.
- the tourbillon according to the invention has, in contrast to the devices known from the prior art, a two-sided construction.
- a central main bearing which serves for the storage of the entire bogie, respectively the bogies, respectively platforms, in the vertical direction (with respect to the longitudinal direction of the balance axis) sandwiched between balance and escapement.
- the main bearing of the tourbillon is preferably a ball bearing or a sliding bearing.
- the main bearing has in this embodiment, in the interior of a sleeve-shaped main axis with a through opening, which forms an integral part of the bearing or is formed as a separate part.
- the main axis connects two, with respect to the central main bearing, opposite platforms (bogies) with each other.
- On one platform is a balance, consisting of a balance wheel and a balance spring, and on the opposite platform an inhibiting mechanism arranged
- the balance and the inhibitor mechanism are linked together via a balance shaft, which runs inside the main camp.
- the balance spring is preferably supported by two opposing balance bearings, which are held by means arranged on the two opposite platforms Brückkonstrukomen.
- the tourbillon mechanism Due to the two-sided construction of the tourbillon mechanism, it is possible to optimally balance the entire arrangement with respect to the main bearing. Preferably, at least one of the platforms on an external toothing, which serves for coupling with a gear train of a movement.
- the described construction of a tourbillon invention allows a modular, two-sided flying structure.
- the entire tourbillon mechanism is assembled in a module that can be easily separated from the rest of the movement.
- a module it is possible to arrange the tourbillon in the movement so that it can be detached freely from it, without having to disassemble a variety of components of the clock before.
- the module can be separated from the clock mechanism built and can be used in the assembly of the clock only at the end in this. Necessary tests and settings can be carried out independently.
- Another embodiment has only one platform, on one side of the balance with the balance spring and on the other side of the inhibiting mechanism are arranged.
- the central platform has an opening through which the balance axis passes.
- a bridge construction is arranged, which serve to support the opposite balance camp.
- the balance bearings are either centric or eccentric with respect to the platform. In an eccentric arrangement, the balance is superimposed with an additional circular movement.
- the platform has external teeth which serve for coupling with a clockwork of a movement.
- Another operative connection is possible.
- this embodiment has two opposite main bearings, which are preferably operatively connected to the bridge structures and arranged substantially at the height of the balance bearings. In certain embodiments, a coaxial arrangement of the balance bearings and the two main bearings is preferred. By accepting a one-sided mass distribution there is the possibility of one-sided storage with only one bearing.
- the balance axles have a maximized length since they extend over the entire height of the tourbillon. This has a positive effect on the load of the balance bearings, since the reaction forces arising as a result of the moments occurring are comparatively lower. This makes it possible to size them smaller.
- the inventive two-sided tourbillon allows a clock with a two-sided, resp.
- To build bilateral flying tourbillon which shows the balance on the side of the dial and the inhibitor mechanism on the opposite side of the dial.
- this design has the advantage that all essential parts of the tourbillon, in particular espagnolette, balance, balance spring and balance adjustment mechanism, as well as main and balance bearings for inspection, maintenance and adjustment freely accessible.
- At least one of the platforms is releasably connected to the main axis. This makes it possible to easily assemble and maintain the tourbillon, respectively the main bearing.
- the balance bearings are integrated into the sleeve-shaped main axis. This offers the possibility to dispense with the outer bridge constructions, so that the view of the balance and the inhibition mechanism are even better.
- At least one of the balance bearings is stationary, i. not rotating with a base of the tourbillon, respectively connected to the movement.
- this embodiment has a balance axis with maximum length.
- FIG. 1 shows a two-sided tourbillon mechanism 1 in a perspective view seen obliquely from above. It is in the embodiment shown to a tourbillon mechanism 1 having a modular structure, respectively. designed as a module that can be easily separated from the clockwork (not shown) and reused.
- the movement has for this purpose a preferably continuous opening in the board, which corresponds to the outer dimensions of the tourbillon mechanism 1, in particular the diameter of the larger platforms 2.
- the tourbillon mechanism can also be permanently installed in a movement, which, however, makes assembly and construction more difficult.
- first platform 2 on which three supports 4 are arranged, on which a first balance bearing holder 5 is fastened by means of three screws 9.
- a first balance bearing 6 is arranged, which is for the storage of one end of a balance shaft 7 (see. FIG. 3
- the supports 4 and the balance bearing support 5 together form a first balance bearing bridge 8.
- a balance wheel 3, with a balance wheel 10 and a balance spring 11, is arranged on the balance bearing axle 7.
- An inner end 45 (cf. FIG. 3 ) of the balance spring 11 is operatively connected to the balance 3.
- An outer end 46 of the balance spring 11 is operatively connected to the balance bearing bridge 8 in the region of an attachment point 13.
- a balance adjustment mechanism 12 is used to adjust the balance spring 11, respectively the balance 3.
- the first platform 2 has an external toothing 15, which in the installed state of the tourbillon module 1 meshes with a gearwork of a movement (both not shown in greater detail).
- the external toothing 15 drives the tourbillon mechanism 1, or the clockwork of the watch is inhibited.
- Other, respectively alternative active connections with a clockwork are possible.
- the first and second platforms 2, 20, as well as the parts of the tourbillon mechanism 1 mounted thereon, are connected via a main bearing 16 (cf. FIG. 3 ) mounted on a base 17 is rotatably disposed about a first rotation axis (main rotation axis) z1.
- the base 17 has fastening means, here in the form of openings 18, which serve for fastening the tourbillon mechanism 1, respectively the tourbillon module, in a movement (not shown in detail).
- FIG. 2 shows the tourbillon mechanism 1 FIG. 1 from the bottom.
- an inhibiting mechanism 21 is arranged on a second platform 20, an inhibiting mechanism 21 is arranged.
- An armature 22 is in operative connection with an escape wheel 23.
- the escape wheel 23 is disposed on an escape wheel shaft 24 which is rotatably supported in two armature bearings 25.
- the armature wheel bearings 25 are directly or indirectly mounted on the second platform 20 so that the escape wheel shaft 24 is rotatably disposed about the second platform 20 about a rotation axis z2.
- On the escape wheel shaft 24 sits an anchor pinion 26, which engages with a fixed, mounted on the base 17, here internally toothed gear 27.
- the armature 22 is mounted on an armature shaft 32 which is rotatably disposed in two armature bearings 33 about a third axis of rotation z3 ,
- the armature 22 has at its inner, aligned to the balance shaft axis 7 towards a groove in which a aligned in the z direction, on the balance shaft 7 secured pin (both not visible) engages by this operative connection, the pendulum motion of the balance on the anchor 22 and transferred via this on the escape wheel 23, respectively, the balance 3 driven (classic lever escapement).
- an externally toothed gear can be used, which is operatively connected to the base 17 or integrated in this
- three second supports 28 are arranged here, which serve for fastening a second balance bearing holder 29 by means of second screws 31.
- the second supports 28 and the balance bearing holder 29 together form a second balance bearing bridge 30.
- the balance bearing bracket 29 serves to hold a second balance bearing 34 and one of the two armature wheel bearings 25.
- the balance bearings 6, 34 are typically of the prior art Art known ruby bearing, which serve to support the balance shaft 7 in the axial (z) and radial directions (x, y). A rotation about the rotation axis z1 is not hindered.
- FIG. 3 shows a sectional view through the Tourbillon mechanism 1 according to the Figures 1 and 2 , The cut is made so that the two axes of rotation z1 and z2 lie in the cutting plane.
- the reference numbers agree with those in the Figures 1 and 2 used reference characters.
