Definitions
- the invention relates to a fitting arrangement for glass doors, with an upper fitting, which has a fitting body with a clamping device for the glass wing and with a vorschiebbaren bearing pin for engagement in an abutment on the skylight or the like and with a lower fitting with a fitting body with a clamping device for the Glass wing and with a receiving recess for a floor closer or floor storage.
- Fitting arrangements are well known. As a rule, however, the fittings and the upper abutment, which is mounted on a skylight above the glass wing of the glass door, aligned transversely to the vertical axis of the glass door. This disturbs the overall visual impression, since the substantially vertical overall orientation of the glass door interrupted by transverse elements and perceived by the viewer as disturbing. In addition, often located next to the glass door side panel with included in the counter bearing, so that there is an overall somewhat chunky design.
- the DE 93 07 027 U1 refers to an all-glass system consisting essentially of a glass door and laterally adjoining wall elements, which are also made of glass, and a skylight located above the door.
- a fitting is used, which is not executed as usual in horizontal form with its lower and upper band, but is installed vertically. This makes it possible to put the necessary for the storage of the door means far out to the edge of the glass, that it only requires a semi-circular bore in the lower and upper part of the glass pan, as well as necessary for the general attachment of the fitting holes, the are above it.
- the connection of the glass elements with each other is ensured via a connecting element, which requires only one center hole and can be mounted without great effort.
- the connecting elements are designed so that an element half is inserted from each side into the bore of the glass plate and these are interconnected by means of a connecting element.
- the present invention is based on this generic state of the art.
- the EP 0 608 063 A2 shows a glass door, which is embedded by means of a circumferential frame. Within the frame, there are corresponding horizontal fittings to operatively connect the all-glass door to a lower and upper bearing.
- a fitting for a full glass wing reveals the DE 298 13 219 U1 which is crowned by caps.
- various inserts can be introduced for aesthetic and visual reasons for the creative possibility.
- a fitting system for the rotatable mounting of a door leaf to a frame construction is the DE 299 24 319 U1 refer to.
- Such a fitting consists of two fittings, which are formed by a running in the longitudinal direction gap. Between the fittings, the door leaf is clamped. Depending on the function and use, the fittings are either over one Bridge integrally connected or formed completely separate. The fittings are fastened to each other from one side by means of corresponding screw elements.
- fitting arrangements specified in claim 1 and 2 it is achieved that the fitting arrangements are not visually disturbing, since they can be fully integrated into the door. They are inconspicuous because the vertical orientation of the glass door is not interrupted by transverse elements and fits slim and graceful in the overall arrangement.
- a fixed, preferably made of glass, side part is arranged, wherein the upper and the lower fitting and the anvil are without engagement with the side part.
- the glass wing is provided according to an advantageous development above and below with a vertically extending glass cutout for receiving the upper or lower fitting or its clamping device.
- each glass cutout preferably two vertically superimposed holes for attachment to the clamping device intended.
- each glass cutout has an obliquely extending contact edge, which comes into abutment against an inclined surface provided in the clamping device.
- the clamping device has a receptacle for the glass cutout with two opposing clamping surfaces for lateral contact with the glass leaf. Due to this construction, an effective power transmission and a secure connection between fitting and door can be achieved.
- the clamping device is provided with longitudinal grooves for receiving fastening screws, which pass through bolt holes in the clamping device and the holes in the glass wing.
- a clamping insert is preferably provided for insertion into the grooves.
- the clamping insert is provided according to an advantageous development with a receptacle for a cover.
- a receptacle for a cover As a result, not only the overall visual impression of the fitting arrangement can be positively influenced, but it is also an adaptation to different colors, shapes, etc. possible.
- the optical adjustment of the fitting arrangement according to the invention can be further improved if, according to a preferred embodiment, the fitting body and the counter bearing are covered by a panel.
- the aperture is preferably according to the embodiment according to claim 1 of pieces of pipe which are slidable over the fitting body and the abutment.
- the tube can also extend over the entire height of the glass wing. This design also serves as a pinch protection, as pinching between the side panel and the glass wing can be safely avoided by reducing the gap occurring.
- the fitting arrangement according to the invention is not optically disturbing because it emphasizes the vertical orientation of the glass door due to its slim and graceful design.
- the aperture offers a wide scope for architectural and design variants.
- the tube is provided with a longitudinal slot and covers the rear end edge of the glass wing.
- tubular panel extends over the entire height of the glass wing, is to increase the stability and clamping of the tube on the glass wing, preferably provided in the central region of the rear end edge of the glass wing, another fitting part.
- This fitting part may be formed similar to the upper or lower fitting.
- the panels can be provided in different colors and / or shapes, eg. B. round, semicircular, angular, oval, etc.
- the aperture does not hinder the attachment of the fittings and in particular the accessibility of the mounting screws, the aperture is provided in an advantageous development with slots, which engage under the clamping insert or the cover.
- the Abdeckblende the clamping insert can be easily removed when access to the mounting screws is required.
- the upper or the lower fitting is covered in each case on its outwardly facing end face with a cap, which preferably consists of plastic.
- the bearing pin is slidably mounted in the upper clamping device in the axial direction of this clamping device.
- the bearing pin can be easily inserted into the upper counter bearing.
- the fitting arrangement specified in claim 15 ensures that the upper fitting is provided with a lifting protection.
