Description
The invention relates to a gate according to the preamble of patent claim 1 and a guide rail arrangement for such a goal.
Gates of this type are used in the form of garage doors or industrial doors. In this case, the door leaf of a plurality of respect. Vertically to the rail element extending hinge axes hingedly interconnected panels exist. In such, also referred to as overhead doors the door leaf is in the Closed position arranged approximately in a vertical plane and is in the open position generally overhead in a horizontal plane. To guide the Torblattbewegung between the closed position and the open position is a guide rail assembly with at least approximately in the direction of gravity parallel to the lateral edge of the door leaf extending in the closed position rail element, an over head and approximately in the horizontal direction parallel to the Torblattrand in the open position extending rail element and one of these two rail elements interconnecting arcuate rail element provided. The extending approximately in the direction of gravity rail member may be secured with a plurality of angular fastening elements on the wall to be closed with the door opening to be closed.
In view of these problems in the prior art, the present invention seeks to provide a goal of the type described above, which on the one hand is easy to install and on the other hand can be operated without risk of injury, and to provide a guide rail assembly for such a goal.
According to the invention this object is achieved by the specified in the characterizing part of claim 1 development of the known goals.
The risk of injury is reduced in the gates according to the invention characterized in that after installation of the rail element on the wall with the fasteners a protective element on the rail element - and / or fixed to at least one of the fasteners, which bridges the gap between the rail element and the wall and such an intervention in this space and a possible risk of injury by contact with the traction means excludes
With regard to a simple and cost-effective installation and removal of a door according to the invention, it has proved to be particularly advantageous if the protective element is releasably secured to at least one of the fastening elements and / or on the rail element.
The fasteners of the invention gates are in the form of elbows with two an angle of preferably about 90 ° with each other enclosing legs may be formed, wherein a first leg on the wall and a second leg to the rail element can be fixed. In this case, a positive connection between the protective element and the fastening element according to the invention is particularly simple and without the use of additional components realized, because the second leg has a receiving area for receiving a mounting portion of the protective element, wherein the receiving area is formed in the form of a Ausdrükkung the second leg. In this case, a particularly secure fixing of the protective element to the fastening element can be achieved if a boundary surface of the fastening region has a profiling which comes into abutment against a boundary surface of the second leg of the fastening element and a separation of the protective element from the fastening element. This profiling can be realized in the form of barbs or simple, pointed webs on the boundary surface of the attachment area.
For optical reasons and to further increase the reliability of a door according to the invention, it is preferred if the protective element has a covering area, wherein between a rail member opposite boundary surface of the second leg of the fastening element and the cover for receiving a for securing the rail element to the second leg serving Fasteners designed. Interspace is formed. The fastening means serving to secure the rail member to the second leg may be realized in the form of bolts and nuts threaded thereon through the rail member and the second leg, which nuts may be received in the space formed between the cover portion and the second leg of the fastener. This reduces the risk of injury from the otherwise exposed nuts.
The protective element of a door according to the invention has no supporting function. Therefore, it can be inexpensively made of plastic. As already explained, this invention can be used with particular advantage in sectional doors, in which the door leaf has a plurality of with respect to approximately perpendicular to the rail element extending hinge axes hingedly interconnected panels.
The invention will be explained with reference to the drawing, to which reference is expressly made with respect to all essential to the invention and in the description unspecified highlighted details. The sole figure of the drawing shows a horizontal sectional view of a door according to the invention in the region of a running approximately in the direction of gravity rail element.
The gate shown in the drawing comprises a plurality of hingedly interconnected panels exhibiting door leaf, wherein in the drawing, only one of these
On the
For bridging a between the
The invention is not limited to the embodiments explained with reference to the drawing. Rather, it is also intended to the use of material or non-positively on the fastener and / or the rail element specified protective elements. Furthermore, the protective element can also be designed without covering area. In this case, it is expedient if the protective element is realized in the form of a U-profile, wherein one of the legs of the protective element is positively received in a receptacle of the fastening element and the other, longer leg of the protective element formed between the rail element and the wall space bypassed.
