Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a household appliance and a household appliance door, which is pivotally mounted about a hinge axis, with a door handle which is pivotable about a parallel to the hinge axis extending door handle axis, which door handle is associated with at least one control gear, which in the pivotal movement of the door in a first Pivoting direction pivots the door handle in a direction opposite to the first pivoting direction second pivoting direction.
  • a generic door is known.
  • the door is pivotally mounted about a hinge axis and has a handle member.
  • the gripping element is pivotably mounted in the door about an axis extending parallel to the hinge axis of the door.
  • the spatial orientation of the handle member is maintained substantially independent of the door position.
  • a control gear is arranged for transmitting the pivotal movement of the door to the door handle.
  • a door handle assembly with a door handle is known, which is pivotable about an axis extending parallel to the hinge axis of the door.
  • the door handle is pivotable between a first position in which the door is closed and a second position in which the door is opened.
  • the door handle assembly includes biasing means in communication with the door handle for biasing the door handle to the first position.
  • the door handle assembly has a housing fitted in the door structure.
  • the object of the present invention is to provide a household appliance or a household appliance door, in which the door handle is operatively operable.
  • the object of the invention is achieved by a household appliance door or by a household appliance with the features of claim 1 and of claim 14.
  • the door handle is pivotally mounted in a bearing housing which extends in the axial direction along the entire door. Tipping moments that are exerted on the door when the door handle is actuated become therefore initially transferred from the door handle on the bearing housing. From the bearing housing, the tilting moments are transmitted evenly distributed along the entire door width to the door. This ensures a stable and thus reliable holding the door handle on the door.
  • the bearing housing is open on the front side over substantially the entire length of the door. Due to the open design of the bearing housing a space bounded by the bearing housing does not act as a difficult to clean dirt trap; Impurities within this confined space can therefore be removed much easier again. Furthermore, the design of the bearing housing is greatly simplified by the open design. Thus, a simple, inexpensive production of the bearing housing is possible.
  • the bearing housing closes a door interior to an end face of the door.
  • the bearing housing thus fulfills the additional function to protect the door interior, for example, against vapors or condensate.
  • a cam is attached to the pivotally mounted door handle. This is assigned to the control gear and performs a tension element, which is accomplished in a simple manner a motion transmission to the door handle.
  • the door handle may have a cover portion extending above the cam.
  • the bearing housing may have at least one additional support portion.
  • the support portion is disposed between two bearing points of the door handle and supports the door handle during its pivotal movement.
  • the support section is particularly preferably a support surface which extends substantially over the entire width of the door. This causes that acting on the door handle operating forces do not lead to a deflection of the door handle and thus to an impairment of its pivotal movement.
  • the bearing housing has at least one contact surface for abutment of an inner and / or outer door pane.
  • Such contact surfaces act as cost-effective spacers between the inner and outer door glass. On additional separate spacers can therefore be advantageously dispensed with.
  • the contact surfaces act as stiffening elements, with the help of which tilting moments can be absorbed by the door.
  • At least one seal is arranged on the bearing housing, on which the inner and / or outer door pane is located.
  • the bearing housing on end stops which limit a pivoting range of the door handle. Outside the bearing housing lying areas of the door therefore advantageously do not come into engagement with the pivoting door handle.
  • At least one deflection roller can be provided on the bearing housing.
  • a profile of the tension member connected to the door handle can be deflected in any desired manner without accepting transmission losses due to friction, etc.
  • the tension element may be connected to a tension spring remote from the bearing housing. In this case, location, location and size of the spring can be adjusted according to the requirements.
  • a cooking appliance 1 is shown according to the first embodiment as a household appliance.
  • the cooking appliance 1 has front-side operating and display elements 2 with an associated control unit.
  • a cooking chamber 3 is also provided.
  • the cooking chamber 3 is bounded by a muffle 4 open at the front.
  • the front opening of the muffle 4 is framed by a front muffle frame 8.
  • the cooking chamber 3 can be closed by means of a door 5, which is mounted pivotably about a horizontal articulation axis 12.
  • the door 5 has an inner door pane 7 and an outer door pane 9 made of glass or glass ceramic.
  • a door handle 17 is provided which is pivotally mounted in a bearing housing 21.
  • FIG 2 consisting of the door handle 17 and the bearing housing 21 arrangement is shown in sections enlarged in a perspective view.
  • the door handle 17 has a handle bar 13 which is connected via bearing blocks 15 with a pivoting part 16.
  • the pivoting part 16 forms the upper end face 6 of the door 5 and has pivot pins 19 on both sides in the longitudinal direction. These are rotatably mounted in the bearing housing 21.
  • Both the bearing housing 21 and the pivot member 16 are preferably made as an injection molded part of a thermoset plastic.
  • stiffening elements 23 are formed at both longitudinal sides of the bearing housing 21. These dive into a door interior 41 and are releasably attached to lateral edge strips 25 of the door 5, for example screwed.
  • FIG. 3 shows a sectional view along the line A-A from FIG. 2, in which the door panes 7, 9 are indicated in dashed lines. Accordingly, the stiffening element 27 is in contact with the outer door pane 9, while the inner door pane 7 lies with the interposition of a seal 29 on a contact surface 22 of the bearing housing 21. From Figure 3 it is further apparent that the bearing housing 21 has a support surface 31. The support surface 31 is disposed between the lateral pivot pins 19 and extends in the axial direction of the pivot member 16 over almost the entire length of the pivot member 1. In contact with the support surface 31 is a corresponding counter surface 33 of the pivot member 16. In the pivotal movement of the door handle 17 is thus the pivot member 16 is supported on the support surface 31. On the bearing housing 21 further two stops 35, 37 are formed, which limit a pivoting range of the door handle 17.
  • the door handle 17 is associated with a tension spring 39 which biases the door handle 17 in a pivoting direction.
  • the tension spring 39 is provided below the bearing housing 21 and extends in the longitudinal direction of the bearing housing 21 extends.
  • the tension spring 39 is arranged freely suspended in the door interior 41 formed between the door panes 7, 9. Due to the free-hanging arrangement of the tension spring 39 within the door interior 41, a free expansion and thus a low-wear load of the tension spring 39 is achieved.
  • the two ends of the tension spring 39 are each connected via a first pull cable 43 with the pivot member 16 to transmit a tension spring force on the pivot member 16.
  • the first traction cables 43 are guided via pulleys 45, which are rotatably mounted on the stiffening elements 27, to cams 47.
  • the cams 47 are rotatably connected on both sides with the longitudinal ends of the pivot member 16.
  • Each of the first traction cables 43 is fixed to an attachment point 46 on the circumference of the cam 47.
  • the tension spring 39 biases the door handle 17 against the first stop 35 and exerts a first torque M1 in a pivoting direction on the door handle 17 (FIG. 4).
  • the cams 47 are arranged within lateral recesses of the pivoting part 16. The recesses are frontally covered by cover portions 18 of the pivot member 16.
  • a second pull cable 48 engages.
  • the second pull cable 48 is guided opposite to the first pull cable 43 around the cam plate 47 and fixed to the attachment point 46 on the circumference of the cam plate 47.
  • the first and second traction cables 43, 48 and the cams 47 constitute components of a control gear 38.
  • the control gear 38 transmits a pivoting movement of the door 5 to the door handle 17, i. upon pivoting of the door 5 in a first pivoting direction, the control gear 38 pivots the door handle 17 in a second pivoting direction opposite to the first pivoting direction.
  • the structure and operation of the control gear 38 are explained below with reference to FIG 4.
  • FIG. 4 an upper and lower section of the door 5 is shown in a sectional view along the line BB from FIG.
  • the door 5 is arranged in a closed position.
  • a conventional door hinge 49 is disposed in the door interior 41.
  • the door hinge 49 protrudes with a hinge part 51 through the cooking chamber 3 facing the inside of the door; the hinge part 51 is inserted in a corresponding receptacle of the cooking appliance.
  • the door hinge 49 has a counterbalancing mechanism, which is indicated by a weight compensating spring 56.
  • the counterbalancing mechanism exerts a compensating force on the hinge part 51 during a pivotal movement of the door 5; the balancing force counteracts the weight of the door 5.
  • a minimum value for the spring force of the tension spring 39 corresponds approximately to the frictional forces to be overcome for returning the door handle 17, after no more actuating force F is exerted on the door handle 17.
  • the tension spring 39 is dimensioned such that the above minimum value is about 10-20% of the spring force of the tension spring 39.
  • the spring force of the tension spring 39 is thus about five to ten times greater than this minimum value. In a faulty operation of the door handle 17, such as by exerting the upward actuating force F (see Figure 4), therefore damage to the control gear 38 is prevented. At the same time allows the comparatively large spring force during a normal opening or closing operation of the door handle 17 by the operator an ergonomically favorable operating feeling.
  • the radius of the cam 47 is of great importance.
  • the radius of the cam 47 determines on the one hand the length of the lever arm and thus the size of the torque with which the traction cables 43, 48 act on the cam 47.
  • the gear ratio is determined by the cam radius, with which a drive movement of the control gear 38 is converted into a pivoting movement of the door handle 17.
  • the lever arm lengths r1, r2 of the cam 47 assigned to the first and the second pull cable 43, 48 are of different sizes.
  • FIG. 5 illustrates an enlarged view of the cam 47 from FIG. 4.
  • FIG. 5 shows the points of application of the tension cables 43 and 48 with the reference symbols A1 and A2.
  • the point A1 of the pull cable 43 moves counterclockwise during an opening operation of the door 5 by a rotation angle section of about 90 ° along the circumference of the cam 47.
  • the lever arm length r1 is substantially constant.
  • the force exerted on the door handle 17 torque M1 is therefore constant during the pivotal movement of the door 5.
  • the engagement point A2 of the traction cable 48 moves counterclockwise about the rotational angle section of about 90 ° along the circumference of the cam plate 47.
  • the lever arm length r2 decreases with its pivoting movement of the door 5 from its closed position; that is, in the horizontal door position, the torque M2 applied to the door handle 17 is the lowest.
  • the torque M2 counteracts a weight force of the door 5; the weight of the door 5 keeps the door 5 stable in its horizontal position.
  • the reduced in the horizontal door position torque M2 is therefore not able to compensate for the weight of the door.
  • the stable position of the door in its horizontal position is thus not affected by the torque M2.
  • the transmission ratio of the control gear 38 can be changed in dependence on the pivotal position of the door 5.
  • Drive losses of the control gear 38 for example, at the beginning of a Pivoting movement of the door caused by an expansion of the traction cables 43, 48 or by a game in the control gear 38 can thus be compensated.
