- the choice of the material in which the key is made as well as that of its dimensions make it possible to determine and adapt the clamping force necessary for cutting the key, by means of a shear calculation.
- the means for tightening the screw 13 are irreversibly obscured by the closure part 3.
- the counter is therefore sealed, its opening being detectable by observing the state of the sealing device and of the wire provided with the seal.
- FIG. 4a to 4e schematically represent the operations necessary for dismantling the device for opening the counter. As shown schematically in Figure 4a, it is first necessary to break the sealing wire 18 and remove it from the sealing assembly. The closing part 3 is therefore no longer secured to the first part 2. As shown diagrammatically in FIG. 4b, the closing part 3 is then removed. The broken key 12 remains inside the slot 17.
- the next step shown schematically in Figure 4c is to remove the broken key 12.
- the tightening means 17 of the screw 13, here the slot are apparent.
- the loosening action imparted by a screwdriver 25 on the screw makes it possible to remove the cover C.

- a first piece 40 in the form of a socket has a bottom provided with an opening making it possible to mount this first free piece in rotation on the rod 14 of a screw 13.
- a housing 42 is provided for receiving the head of the screw 16.
- the end upper part of the first part 40 forms a receptacle 44 for receiving the closure part.
- the clamping means 46 are formed by the hexagonal shape of the wall of the receptacle 44 which can thus cooperate with a hexagon wrench (not shown) for locking the screw 13. It goes without saying that another number of sides would have could be chosen for the shape of this wall.
- the closing part 50 is shown seen from the side in FIG. 7. It includes a key-shaped protrusion 52 designed to cooperate with the slot 17 of the screw 13. This key is connected to a part 54 of the closing part serving of support. A peripheral element in the form of a hexagonal crown 56 is connected to the support 54 by means of three breakable strands 58. The hexagonal shape of the peripheral element 56 corresponds to the hexagonal shape of the receptacle 44 of the first part 40. In this way , the closing piece fits into this receptacle.
- the screw 13 is driven in a screwing movement by means of the closing part 50. When the screw 13 is blocked, the continuation of the effort of screwing breaks the breakable strands 58, which separates the assembly formed by the peripheral element 56 (now separated from the support 54) and the first part 40 of the assembly formed by the closure part 50 fitted into the screw 13.
- a sealing plate 60 preferably transparent, of shape corresponding to the shape of the receptacle 46 is crimped in said receptacle to seal the assembly.
- This plate 60 can advantageously serve as a support for recording information such as serial number, date, etc. To unscrew, it is necessary to break the sealing plate 60 which allows, after removing the element peripheral 56 as well as the support 54 to access the screw 13. The integrity of the seal is therefore easily verified by checking the condition of the sealing plate.
