Definitions
- the invention relates to a cylinder-operated multi-bolt lock with panic function via a push button to open the locked multi-bolt lock in an emergency without Key from the inside according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Such Closure is known from FR-A-2 469 537.
- Locked locks offer security against the unauthorized Enter individual areas and condition in others Consequence that the person entitled to leave one Must perform the locking process. Exceptions are e.g. Mortise, a rigid handle on the outside and one on the inside Have pusher. If these mortise locks around day are unlocked, the door can be unlocked using the key opening from the outside, opening from the inside is without However, the key can be used at any time using the handle. in the The room or the building could therefore panic during the day without it more are left, but not in the example above at night when the cylinder is locked in the mortise lock. The official regulations therefore require logically for doors that have to be opened from the inside in the event of panic, that this opening from the inside even when the lock is locked is possible.
- this opening must be done with help alone of the trigger. For example, it’s not enough a double lock cylinder with knob operation from the inside (e.g. a so-called hotel cylinder). This could be opened from the inside without a key, but would be two actuation processes - the knob actuation and the trigger actuation - necessary.
- a double lock cylinder with knob operation from the inside e.g. a so-called hotel cylinder. This could be opened from the inside without a key, but would be two actuation processes - the knob actuation and the trigger actuation - necessary.
- Multi-bolt locks with cylinder actuation are usually like this constructed that pushing the push rods back about by direct force on the push rods of outside does not lead to opening.
- gearboxes designed to be self-locking together with the locking cylinder no chance of manipulation from outside.
- the invention aims at cylinder actuated Multi-latch locks of the type described in the introduction To enable emergency opening from the inside with the handle alone, no matter whether the lock is by means of the locking cylinder is blocked or not.
- This is according to the invention achieved by the features of claim 1.
- To a Move the push rod when the gearbox is blocked and To enable locking cylinders anyway, these are blocking Components when the handle is actuated from the inside (in Panic case) thus kinematically separated. In this way an exemption (A) of the push rod is achieved and within the push rod pushes the push rod into the open position postponed.
- the gearbox and the cylinder remain during the emergency opening unchanged in the blocked Position.
- the uncoupling or the interface between the blocked components takes place between the toothed part of the Push rod and the push rod or the push rod connection slider.
- a relative shift option (Exemption) guaranteed as soon as the components, So the gear part of its push rod or the Push rod connection slide are kinematically solved. It remains the gear part with the gear and the locked Lock cylinders stand while the push rod respectively the push rod connection slide in case of panic through the Pusher is brought into the open position alone.
- a concrete one Embodiment provides that the toothing part in the level of the push rod or the push rod connection slide in a recess of the same as a couplable Insert piece lies and that the length of the recess, in the direction of displacement seen, at least around the bar exclusion corresponding feed of the push rod is larger than the length of the toothed part provided in the recess, so that the length difference is an exemption from the Push rod or the push rod connecting slide with uncoupled, stationary toothing part for the bolt retraction results. It is, so to speak, the gear part the push rod cut out and a releasable coupling connected to this, the cutout being a differential movement between the push rod and the stationary gear part allows.
- a simple and easy coupling is achieved in that this between the push rod or Push rod connection slider and toothed part as spring tongue is formed, which has one end on the toothed part is fixed and with the other free end e.g. with a Pin in a recess of the push rod or the push rod connecting slide attacks.
- This spring tongue is parallel to the level of the push rod and can hook into it.
- a contact surface on the spring tongue and on the handle nut against the ramp surface swiveling lever for bending the spring tongue and thus for Disengaging the same is provided.
- a lock housing space-saving designs be characterized in that it has a hook which is articulated on the toothing part is and under spring tension in a direction transverse to the direction of displacement the push rod oriented recess of the Engages the push rod or the push rod connection slide, the hook on actuation of the trigger over a Nut lever can be disengaged from its engaged position.
- the hook can be in the plane or in a parallel plane of the Push rod be pivotally mounted and laterally in this intervention.
- the nut lever engages with his lever arm on one side of his cantilever the range of rotation of the freely rotatable release lever. This is due to the distances and the effective lever arm lengths from the pivot points with appropriate translation and thus with a possibly increased torque or with an enlarged angle of rotation for pivoting the hook the clutch and the now optional shift of the Push rod used.
- a position indicator for information about the Locking or open position is provided, in particular a toothing on the push rod and a gear with manually operated knob for position display and reset the push rod and engaging the clutch in the Gearing part after a panic opening.
- a panic opening is based on two exemplary embodiments of a multi-bolt lock according to the invention by means of a only pusher on the room side (outside is a rigid one, for example Knauf provided) and a subsequent provision explained by key operation.

- a cylinder-operated multi-bolt lock includes one Lock housing 1 with a push rod connection slide 2 for one or more push rods 3 that lock (not shown) outside the lock housing 1.
- the lock housing 1 there is a recess for one Double lock cylinder 4, the locking nose on the hub side a gear 5 engages, which has a gear 6 with several Gear wheels actuated a rack toothing 7.
- an abortive gear is provided here, which on one flat side two axially projecting pins with crowned Has triangular cross section. These pins are diametrical to the axis of rotation of the gear and engage in a corresponding one Rack toothing of a toothed part 8.
- This toothing part 8 is a coupling 9, namely a spring tongue 10 with a hook-shaped projecting pin 11 (Fig. 1a), with the push rod connection slide 2 kinematic connected is.
- clutch 9 engaged the function of the multi-bolt lock state of the art: When the double lock cylinder is locked, actuated the gear 6, the gear teeth 7, so that the connecting rod slide 2 with its push rod 3 in the linear Guides along the faceplate in the lock case 1 moves up or down.
- Fig. 1 shows that with the displacement of the push rod connection slider 2 a lock bolt 12 retracts and extends. For this purpose, a pin-slot deflection 13 in a known manner intended.
- a trap 14 is by means of a follower 15 operated by a pusher.
- a Lever 16 At the trigger nut 15 is a Lever 16 provided, in its swivel range when the handle is actuated one formed by bending the spring tongue 10 Ramp surface 17 is. 1 and 1a is the Lever 16 immediately next to the contact surface 17.
- the pivots Lever 16 on the follower 15 clockwise against the Ramp surface 17 of the toothed part 8 e.g. by riveting attached spring tongue 10.
- the spring tongue 10 gives way Spring force downwards (Fig. 2a - arrow) and the pin 11 deviates from a recess in the connecting rod slide 2 back.
- the push rod connecting slide 2 is thus free and can be independent of the kinematics of the toothing of the toothed part 8, the gear teeth 7, the gear 6, Gear 5 and the double locking cylinder 4 are moved.
- the latter components are self-locking and can only be done with a key in the double locking cylinder 4 can be activated.
- the release of the push rod connection slide 2 is up to a path length A according to FIG. 2 (see double arrow A in Fig. 2).
- Fig. 6 shows the end position of the components and Fig. 6a the Position of the components of the coupling 9.
- the multi-bolt lock is unlocked and the door can be used as normal of the handle. Only the trap 14 is withdrawn. If the multi-bolt lock is locked, then the situation according to FIG. 1 results.
- FIGS. 1 to 6 While in FIGS. 1 to 6 a multi-bolt lock with a clutch 9 is described, which is perpendicular to the plane of the drawing 7 to 17 relate to or disengage a variant with a coupling in the drawing plane is pivoted.
- FIGS. 7 to 17 are the normal operation of this multi-bolt lock described, while Figs. 12 to 17 die Panic function and the reset concern.
- a gear 5, a gear 6 and a gear with Stick toothing 7 is a toothing part 8 vertically or moves depending on whether the key is in the locking direction (counterclockwise) or in the unlock direction (in Clockwise).
- the tooth part 8 is not rigid or in one piece with the connecting rod slide 2 connected, but by means of a disengageable clutch 9, the consists of several components.
- Immediate coupling part is a hook 20 which is pivotable in the plane of the drawing.
- the Hook 20 is pivotally connected to the toothing part 8 and is shown by spring force in the direction of that shown in Fig. 7 Preloaded position in which a hook surface 21 in a recess 22 in the connecting rod connecting slide 2 intervenes. So that toothing part 8 and push rod connecting slide 2 coupled.
- a lever 16 is provided with a driving surface 23 on which a one-armed trigger lever 24 is present.
- the release lever 24 is rotatably mounted about an axis 25 fixed to the housing.
- the Function of disengaging the hook 20 will be related later described with the panic function. For the time being from Fig. 7 explains the normal function starting from that the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 6 does not differ.
- Unlocking means turning the key clockwise and according to FIG. 10 a displacement of the push rods 3 upwards and the lock bolt 12 is pulled in.
- the end position the components of the unlocked multi-bolt lock shown in Fig. 11.
- a nut lever 30, a sprung slide 31, angle lever 32 and a linear guided drop shaft 33 Via the handle, a nut lever 30, a sprung slide 31, angle lever 32 and a linear guided drop shaft 33, the trap 14 can be retracted and the door be opened.
- the nut lever 16 inside the lock housing pivots in parallel to the pusher and its driver surface 23 lifts the release lever 24 on, due to the effective lever arm lengths a translation between handle angle and swivel angle the release lever 24 of e.g. 1: 2 results.
- One shoulder 26 of the release lever 24 engages on part of the lever 20 and presses it out of its engaged position from the Push rod connecting slide 2. Then comes the end face 27 of the trigger lever to effect. She lies down on a counter surface of the push rod connecting slide 2 and moves this in the direction of the arrow as when unlocking using the Key. All locks including the lock bolt 12 are opened.
- the trap 14 is in the Emergency opening simultaneously withdrawn as a result of the trigger actuation because the nut lever 30 the spring-loaded slide 31st presses downward against spring force and the angle lever 32 is turned clockwise, this in the sense of a Corner deflection acts on the drop shaft 33 and the latch 14 moves in.
- FIG. 16 To return the multi-bolt lock to normal function bring, according to FIG. 16, the unlocking process using the Rescheduled key. If the key is in the lock cylinder 4 is turned clockwise (unlock), then runs Tooth part as in Fig. 10 up and fetches the connecting rod slide 2 a.
- the hook 20 has an end face via an inlet slope and snaps under as shown in FIG. 17 Spring force in the recess 22, causing the coupling process is completed.
- FIG. 17 therefore corresponds to FIG. 7 match.
- the trigger lever s the handle angle translated, which means a lower handle angle or nut angle is sufficient or a smaller backset is possible. Further serves the inlet slope on the spring-loaded hook 20 as Push rod brake.
