Claims (7)
- Device for controlling the position of printing plates on the plate cylinder of printing presses, in particular sheet-fed offset presses, having a fastening apparatus for that edge of the printing plate which is assigned to the start of the print, the printing plate having a stamped-out portion on this edge, which stamped-out portion interacts with a stop in the fastening apparatus and with a position transmitter which senses the position of the printing plate, characterized in that, when the fastening apparatus (3) is closed, the stop (4, 5) performs a stroke (h) counter to the feed direction of the printing plate (1), by means of which stroke (h) the printing plate (1) can be displaced into the in-register position, and in that the position transmitter (8, 9) is configured as a transmitter which senses the position of the printing plate outside the stamped-out portion and as a transmitter which signals the presence of the leading edge of the printing plate (1) in a predefined region within the fastening apparatus (3).
- Device according to Claim 1, characterized in that, when the fastening apparatus (3) is closed, the contact of the printing plate (1) with the position transmitter (8, 9) is cancelled by the stroke of the stop (4, 5).
- Device according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that two position transmitters (8, 9) are provided in the case of two stops (4, 5) which are arranged in an axially spaced-apart manner.
- Device according to Claim 1, 2 or 3, characterized in that the position transmitters (8, 9) are configured as contacts which can be closed electrically by the printing plate (1).
- Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the stops (4, 5) which interact with the stamped-out portions (6, 7) are attached by means of prestressed leaf springs (13, 14) in the fastening apparatus (3).
- Device according to Claim 5, characterized in that the leaf springs (13, 14) are attached to the fastening apparatus (3) via a block (15).
- Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the leaf springs (13, 14) can be adjusted via an associated adjusting means (16).
