Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Verpackung für eine stabförmige Lampe gemäß dem O-berbegriff des Patentanspruchs 1.
I. Stand der Technik
Eine derartige Verpackung ist beispielsweise in dem deutschen Gebrauchsmuster G 93 06 272.9 offenbart. Dieses Gebrauchsmuster beschreibt eine einteilige, aus einem Karton oder Wellpappe bestehende Faltschachtel zur Aufnahme einer stabförmigen elektrischen Lampe. Die Faltschachtel besitzt drei Seitenwände, die einen Zylinder mit dreieckigem Querschnitt formen. Die beiden Enden dieser Faltschachtel sind jeweils durch zwei Verschlußlaschen, die einen Schränkverschluß bilden, verschlossen.
Die Patentschrift US 3,249,213 beschreibt eine Verpackung, die als eine rohrartige Hülse mit einem trapezförmigen Querschnitt ausgebildet ist. Die Verpackung besitzt ferner eine an der Rückwand angeordnete Aufhängelasche, die mit einer Ausstanzung versehen ist.
II. Darstellung der Erfindung
Es ist die Aufgabe der Erfindung, eine Verpackung für eine stabförmige Lampe bereitzustellen, die eine Ausstanzung zum Aufhängen der Verpackung an einer mit genormten Haken ausgestatteten Präsentationswand aufweist und die eine verbesserte Vorrichtung zur Arretierung der Lampe in der Verpackung besitzt.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß durch die kennzeichnenden Merkmale des Patentanspruchs 1 gelöst. Besonders vorteilhafte Ausführungen der Erfindung sind in den Unteransprüchen beschrieben.
Die erfindungsgemäße Verpackung ist als rohrartige Hülse mit trapezförmigem Querschnitt ausgebildet, wobei die rohrartige Hülse von einer ersten, die Rückseite der Hülse bildenden Seitenwand und einer zweiten, die Frontseite der Hülse bildenden Seitenwand sowie zwei weiteren schrägen Seitenwänden geformt wird. Die zweite, als Frontseite der Hülse ausgeführte Seitenwand besitzt eine geringere Breite als die erste, als Rückseite der Hülse ausgebildete Seitenwand. Die Rückseite weist an einem Ende eine über die rohrartige Hülse hinausragende Lasche auf, die mit einer Ausstanzung zum Aufhängen der verpackten Lampe an einer mit genormten Haken ausgerüsteten Präsentationswand versehen ist. Erfindungsgemäß ist die mit der Ausstanzung versehene, an die Rückseite angeformte Lasche doppelwandig ausgeführt und die Arretiervorrichtung des mit der Lasche ausgestatteten Endes der rohrartigen Hülse ist als Verriegelungslasche ausgebildet, wobei eine Kante der doppelwandigen Lasche einen Anschlag für die Verriegelungslasche bildet. Aufgrund der vorgenannten Merkmale erfordert die erfindungsgemäße Verpackung einen geringeren Materialaufwand als eine vergleichbare Verpackung mit rechteckigem oder dreieckigem Querschnitt, wie nachstehend näher erläutert wird.
Bei relativ dünnen stabförmigen Lampen, wie zum Beispiel bei T8-Leuchtstofflampen, ist die Mindestbreite der Verpackung nicht durch den Außendurchmesser der Lampe, sondern durch die Breite der Ausstanzung bestimmt. Wenigstens eine Seitenwand der Verpackung muß daher mindestens so breit sein wie die Ausstanzung. Bei einer Verpackung mit rechteckigem Querschnitt besitzen die Frontseite und Rückseite dieselbe Breite, nämlich mindestens die Breite der Ausstanzung, während die Mindesthöhe der Verpackung durch den Außendurchmesser der Lampe festgelegt ist. Bei der erfindungsgemäßen Verpackung besitzt nur die Rückseite die von der Ausstanzung festgelegte Mindestbreite, während die Frontseite schmaler ausgebildet ist. Dadurch ergibt sich für die erfindungsgemäße Verpackung gegenüber der Verpackung mit rechteckigem Querschnitt eine deutliche Materialeinsparung. Eine Verpackung mit dreieckigem Querschnitt weist ebenfalls eine ungünstigere Verpackungsmaterialbilanz als die erfindungsgemäße Verpackung auf, weil eine Verpackung mit dreieckigem Querschnitt und vorgegebener Mindestbreite der Grundfläche die durch den Außendurchmesser der Lampe festgelegte Mindesthöhe der Verpackung deutlich überschritten würde.
Um möglichst wenig Verpackungsmaterial zu verwenden, ist die erfindungsgemäße Verpackung vorteilhafterweise so ausgebildet, daß die Breite ihrer Rückseite nur so groß wie die Breite der Ausstanzung ist. Die Lampe wird vom anderen Ende her in die trapezförmige Hülse eingeführt und drückt dabei gegen die Verriegelungslasche, die dadurch auf der als Anschlag ausgebildeten Kante der doppelwandigen Lasche aufliegt und ein Herausgleiten der Lampe an diesem, mit der Verriegelungslasche ausgestatteten Ende verhindert. Das andere Ende der Verpakkung wird vorteilhafterweise mittels eines in das Innere der Verpackung zurückfaltbaren Winkels gegen ein Herausgleiten der Lampe gesichert. Ist der Winkel in den Innenraum der Verpackung zurückgefaltet, so dient er der in der Verpackung angeordneten Lampe als Anschlag. Die erfindungsgemäße Verpackung ist aus fertigungstechnischen Gründen vorteilhafterweise einteilig ausgeführt und besteht vorteilhafterweise aus einem einteiligen Wellpappenzuschnitt oder Kartonzuschnitt.
III. Beschreibung des bevorzugten Ausführungsbeispiels
Nachstehend wird die Erfindung anhand eines bevorzugten Ausführungsbeispiels näher erläutert. Es zeigen:

Bei der Verpackung gemäß des bevorzugten Ausführungsbeispiels der Erfindung handelt es sich um eine einteilige Faltschachtel aus Wellpappe für eine stabförmige T8-Leuchtstofflampe, die einen Außendurchmesser von ungefähr 26 mm besitzt. Diese Verpackung ist aus einem einteiligen Wellpappenzuschnitt gemäß Figur 1 gefertigt. In Figur 1 stellen die gestrichelten Linien Faltkanten und die durchgezogenen Linien Schnittkanten dar. Die Verpackung besitzt vier Seitenwände 10, 11, 12, 13 und eine Klebelasche 14, die eine rohrartige Hülse mit einem trapezförmigen Querschnitt formen. Die erste Seitenwand 10 bildet die Rückseite der trapezförmigen Hülse und die zweite Seitenwand 11 formt die parallel zur Rückseite verlaufende Frontseite der Hülse. Die Rückseite besitzt eine Breite von ca. 37,5 mm, während die Frontseite eine Breite von ca. 23 mm aufweist. Die anderen beiden Seitenwände 12, 13 bilden die schräg verlaufenden Seitenwände der trapezförmigen Hülse. Sie besitzen eine Breite von jeweils 29 mm. Die Länge der trapezförmigen Hülse ist derart gewählt, daß sie die darin zu verpackende Lampe vollständig, auf ihrer gesamten Länge umgibt. An die Rückseite 10 ist eine über das obere Ende der trapezförmigen Hülse hinausragende, doppelwandig ausgebildete Lasche 15 angeformt. Die Lasche 15 weist eine schlitzartige Ausstanzung 16 auf, die sich über die gesamte Breite der Rückseite 10 beziehungsweise der Lasche 16 erstreckt. Die Ausstanzung 16 dient zum Aufhängen der in der Verpackung angeordneten Lampe an einer mit genormten Haken ausgerüsteten Präsentationswand, die üblicherweise im Selbstbedienungshandel verwendet werden. Die Unterseite 15a der doppelwandigen Lasche 15 wird aus Material der Rückwand 10 und die Oberseite 15b aus dem Material der Frontseite 11 geformt. Die doppelwandige Lasche 15 wird durch Einschneiden der Frontseite 11 und der Seitenwände 12, 13 entlang der Schnittlinie 17 und anschließendes Zurückfalten des durch die Schnittlinie 17 von der Frontseite 11 abgetrennten Materials 15b auf die Rückseite 10 erzeugt. Die so entstandene Lasche 15 weist seitlich jeweils einen die Lasche 15 und die Ausstanzung 16 begrenzenden Steg 12a, 13a auf. Das obere, mit der doppelwandigen Lasche 15 ausgestattete Ende der Verpackung wird durch eine Verriegelungslasche 18, die ein Herausrutschen der Lampe verhindert, verriegelt. Die Verriegelungslasche 18 ist über eine Faltkante an die obere Kante 25 eines am oberen Faltschachtelende in der Frontseite 11 angebrachten Sichtfensters 24 angeformt. Zum Verschließen des oberen Faltschachtelendes ist die Verriegelungslasche 18 entlang der Faltkante 25 um einen Winkel von 90 Grad in das Innere der trapezförmigen Hülse zurückgefaltet. Das abgewinkelte freie Ende 18a der Verriegelungslasche 18 liegt an der von der Oberseite 15b gebildeten Kante 15c der Lasche 15 an. Die Kante 15c dient dem abgewinkelten Ende 18a der Verriegelungslasche 18 als Anschlag und verhindert dadurch ein Herausgleiten der Lampe aus dem oberen Faltschachtelende. Da die Verriegelungslasche 18 zwischen der Kante 15c und der in der Faltschachtel untergebrachten Lampe angeordnet ist, kann sie sich nicht selbsttätig öffnen.
Das untere Ende der Verpackung wird, nach dem Einführen der Lampe in die trapezförmige Hülse, durch Zurückfalten des am unteren Verpackungsende angeordneten Winkels 19 in das Innere der Faltschachtel verriegelt. Der Winkel 19 wird mit Hilfe einer Schnittlinie 20, die senkrecht zur Faltkante zwischen den benachbarten Seitenwände 10, 12 verläuft und sich über diese Faltkante erstreckt, und mittels zweier senkrecht zur Schnittlinie 20 ausgeführter Faltkanten 21, 22 erzeugt. Die Faltschachtel weist an ihrem unteren Ende in der Frontseite 11 ein zusätzliches Sichtfenster 23 auf. Beide Sichtfenster 23, 24 erstrecken sich über die gesamte Breite der Frontseite 11. Sie dienen dazu, die auf dem Lampenkolben aufgedruckten Produktinformationen zugänglich zu machen.

Claims (5)

  1. Verpackung für eine stabförmige Lampe, wobei die Verpackung eine rohrartige Hülse mit einem trapezförmigen Querschnitt besitzt und
    beide Enden der rohrartigen Hülse jeweils mit einer Arretiervorrichtung (18, 19) zur Fixierung der Lampe in der Verpackung versehen sind,
    die rohrartige Hülse eine erste, die Rückseite bildende Seitenwand (10) und eine zweite, die Frontseite bildende Seitenwand (11) sowie zwei weitere, schräge Seitenwände (12, 13) besitzt, wobei die zweite Seitenwand (11) von geringerer Breite als die erste Seitenwand (10) ist,
    die Rückseite (10) an einem Ende eine über die rohrartige Hülse hinausragende Lasche (15) ausweist, in der eine Ausstanzung (16) angeordnet ist, die zum Aufhängen der Verpackung an einem Haken einer Präsentationswand dient,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
    die Lasche (15) doppelwandig ausgebildet ist und die Arretiervorrichtung (18) des mit der Lasche (15) ausgestatteten Endes der rohrartigen Hülse als Verriegelungslasche (18) ausgebildet ist, wobei eine Kante (15c) der doppelwandigen Lasche (15) einen Anschlag für die Verriegelungslasche (18) bildet.
  2. Verpackung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Breite der Rückseite (10) mit der Breite der Ausstanzung (16) übereinstimmt.
  3. Verpackung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Frontseite (11) im Bereich des mit der Lasche (15) ausgestatteten Endes ein Sichtfenster (24) aufweist und die Verriegelungslasche (18) an eine Kante (25) des Sichtfensters (24) angeformt und in das Innere der rohrartigen Hülse zurückgefaltet ist.
  4. Verpackung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Verpackung einteilig ausgeführt ist.
  5. Verpackung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Verpackung aus Wellpappe oder Karton besteht.
