Definitions
- the present invention is concerned with methods and Devices with which changes in the closed state a lock or the absolute closed state is recorded and can be displayed to a user.
- the first and most serious disadvantage is that such mechanical display not between unlocking a door distinguish it from the inside and lock the door from the outside can. So even if, for example, the key cap indicates a closed state, this can mean that the user has unlocked a door. Beyond that this system only for the last lock only one Lock usable. Another, in practice The disadvantage that arises is the sensitivity of this system against turning back the key after opening and Lock. It happens quite often that the key about the position in which it can be removed from the lock, is twisted. To remove the key, he must therefore be turned back in the opposite direction, which automatically leads to a reset of the mechanical display.
- a lock-dependent one is also from the prior art System known that z. B. JP 07054524 and JP 04038382 describe.
- z. B. JP 07054524 and JP 04038382 describe.
- DE 43 27 294 shows a key with a Is equipped for detecting a rotary movement, a distinction is made between turning left and right. It are a ball rotary encoder, a grinding tongue or a self rotating in the lock during the rotation of the key Wheel provided. Detecting whether the lock is open or not locked, does not take place. It is preprogrammed whether the evaluation unit turns clockwise as up or down Locking interpreted so that every detected right turn e.g. is displayed as Unlock. An actual one It is not intended and is not intended to check whether the lock has been unlocked possible.
- US 4 908 605 is concerned with a key which together with a special, immobilized Evaluation unit is used.
- the key points Magnetic switch on when the lock is turned are operated and indicate a right or left turn. A detection, whether that unlocks or locks the lock is not in the key, but in one additional device in which the key is inserted.
- the Magnetic switches used are unreliable in practice, because they can be switched by vibrations. It only a single lock can be detected.
- DE 43 15 892 deals with a networked system with a Central Office.
- a Central Office Here are several locks using cables a central station that is stationary in relation to the castles connected.
- Each lock transmits its closed state to the central office from which every single castle can be queried. Possibly. can a transmission from the Central point to a user who is nearby occur.
- the targeted detection of a single lock can not; the central office only transmits Information regarding all locks recorded. If e.g. Only one of these locks is unlocked Transfer information "to"; an assignment of this Information about the open lock is not possible.
- a transmission of information from the central office to the key should only take place if the key has been recognized as authorized.
- the Data exchange therefore preferably runs in two directions.
- the signal sent by the central office coded.
- This system has a number of other disadvantages on. First of all, it is a very expensive, complex System that cannot be retrofitted. Can continue the user does not control the closed state himself; he is dependent on the fact that the information from the Central office to be transmitted. For this is a physical Contact between key and lock required. About that furthermore, such a system fails completely as soon as larger locks between the individual locks spatial distances are such. B. from the front door or Apartment door to the office.
- US-A-5 025 426 discloses a method for detecting the Change the locking status of at least one lock with logic attached to a key with memory and Display, showing a twist of the lock associated Key in the lock is detected, a signal is generated by unlocking or closing the lock displays, and this signal in the logic memory saved and displayed.
- the assigned Detection device comprises an absolute time base and one Inclination sensor with 2 states. This system can reliably show when the assigned key last was used, but it is only for locks that lock 180 ° applicable.
- US-A-5 548 984 relates to a device for displaying the Lock state of a lock, with the key on Indicator magnet is provided, the two when rotating in the lock spaced actuating magnets arranged on the lock happens.
- the display magnet moves into one of two positions, one open or closed Show lock, depending on which actuation magnet last happened. This system works purely mechanically. Electronics for signal acquisition and evaluation and to display the closing status is not intended.
- the object of the present invention is to process and To provide devices of the type mentioned, the simple, safe, reliable and practically error-free work for a wide range of keys / locks are usable and with little financial Effort can be retrofitted.
- the invention essentially proposes two different ones Procedures for solving the task.
- the first Procedure that in claims 1,2 and 17 and the associated subclaims is described, recorded in essentially twisting one stuck in the lock Key.
- this signal either shows the unlocking directly or locking the lock (claim 1) or it is is a coded signal associated with the blocking direction is, but must first be decrypted by data synchronization (Claim 2).
- Caim 2 data synchronization
- the present invention is not necessarily intended to be Detect a left or right rotation.
- the first Embodiment determines whether the key is rotates. At the same time, it is determined whether a Unlocking or locking the lock regardless of the actual direction of rotation. It the direction of rotation is not determined first and then checked whether this direction of rotation Unlocking or locking causes, but it becomes direct unlocking or locking during twisting detected.
- the method according to claim 2 can provide that the Determine the rotation by detecting the direction of rotation and the assignment to the blocking direction separately be performed. So it is recorded whether the key is turned left or right; at the same time it is recorded whether the lock locks left or right. This capture will expediently by attached near the castle Markings are made.
- the signal can therefore either only Direction of rotation (left or right) or the direction of rotation and include the blocking direction.
- This process can be expanded so that the Only turn the key by turning the key itself attached sensors, e.g. Position sensors or ball sensors is detected.
- the key determines its own Twist direction.
- the rotation of the key is detected not just left or right, but in Direction or in connection with the direction of the opening or Zusperrens.
- the problem of the inside or outside of doors is reliably overcome.
- the detection of the rotary movement can be designed in this way that a slight turning back of the key either not recognized at all or recognized and as such is identified. A failure to report such, in will turn back frequently in practice also avoided.
- the system is also capable of not only that Display and save the status of a single lock, but it can work for multiple locks with one Keys are locked, used. To this end is provided, not only that when turning the key Lock or unlock, but at the same time determine which lock it is.
- This Lock identification can be done either together with the above Signal or be recorded as a separate signal.
- Step be provided inserting the key into the and / or inserting the key in the lock to capture. This ensures that a random Detect an unlock or lock movement when the key carried loose in the bag, can not take place.
- test is whether a key is introduced or is preferred for cost reasons performed a mechanical switch. To the system very much easy to handle, but it is preferred if all acquisition, determination and Identification steps take place without contact.
- the display can be viewed by the user Press the corresponding buttons, switches or keys to toggle turned off.
- the practical implementation consists of an or several markings near the castle are attached.
- the sensor or sensors now paint over the markings, the order of detection of these marks by the direction of rotation of the key is determined.
- the sensors generate a corresponding signal that is in a key attachable memory can be stored and if necessary by a logic that can also be attached to the key can be.
- the status is then displayed the castle has been brought.
- Different parts of the device do not necessarily have to Key itself be attached, but can e.g. B. in be included in a keychain.
- a suitable type of coding i.e. a specific one Sequence of markings
- a suitable type of coding i.e. a specific one Sequence of markings
- These markings are e.g. B. on the inside of the door clockwise, on the outside attached counterclockwise. It will be for both Sides of the door reliably detected whether an unlock or Lock is present.
- the markings are as Magnets are formed by Hall sensors and / or Reed sensors for detecting the magnetic field swept over become.
- the magnets can be attached so that point them to the key with their north or south pole; alternatively, it is also possible to use magnets lengthways to attach, which is then the length of the corresponding Sensors are scanned.
- the display itself can be implemented in any form; an LCD display is preferred. It can also be a optical or acoustic signal generator be present, the the user to a change in the closed state and / or on the correct / incorrect detection of such Change indicates.
- this system can only do one the only time there is a false report.
- This nonexistence occurs when a multi-locked lock is only opened once, i.e. by Locking level 2 turned back to locking level 1 becomes. In this case the lock is still locked; the However, the display shows that the lock is open.
- the invention proposes a further way in which the closed state of a lock is detected and sent to one User can be submitted.
- On this embodiment are independent claims 8 and 22 with their Subordinate claims directed.
- the associated procedure is the closed state of the castle. Then a corresponding signal to a logic that can be attached to the key transfer. This transfer can always take place. For energy however, it is preferred to save if only periodically or transmission takes place in certain circumstances. Here it is preferred if only after a change a transmission of the closed state takes place.
- the closed state is saved and displayed if necessary.
- the closed state is detected and to a logic that can be attached to the key.
- each captured lock can be queried individually and individually and be encoded.
- An identification of the key opposite the castle does not take place.
- Identification of the lock via a suitable signal respectively. It is also a link to absolute time or starting a stopwatch.
- Locks can be locked one after the other.
- Lock identification signals are one Assignment of the locking status to each lock and one Identification or display of the closed status of each Castle possible.
- the associated device includes a near the Lock attached lock sensor module with which the Lock state of the lock is detected. This signal will via a transmitter to a memory attached to the key transmitted with recipient and then displayed there.
- the lock sensor module can either be in the in the door inserted lock integrated or on the door frame in the area of the striking plate.
- the second variant has the advantage that the lock can be locked when the door is open is not recognized and is therefore more reliable.
- the corresponding Components assigned to the key not only on the key arranged itself, but also in, for example, one Keyring included.
- This further embodiment of the invention enables one error-free detection of the locking status of a lock. This closed state is then on the keychain located recipient transmitted, only a very short Distance must be covered. So it can be very low transmission power and correspondingly energy-saving be worked. But it is also possible to go through suitable transmitters can also cover larger distances.
- Figures 1-3 show schematically a first embodiment of the present invention with an associated circuit.
- a key 1 is provided, which is in a lock 2nd can be introduced.
- several markings, preferably magnets 3, attached, recognized by sensors 4 on the key 1 can be.
- the sensors 4 sweep the markings 3 in one given order. This order can be captured be whether the lock 2 is unlocked or locked; it can further determine which lock 2 it is is.
- the sensors 4 can z. B. in a key cap 6th be included, simply over an existing one Key is turned.
- the key cap 6 carries a display 7 on which in FIG. 1 a "z" for too and a time of 1 hour, 17 minutes since the lock is displayed.
- the underlying circuit essentially comprises one Logic 8 with a memory and a sensor system 9 with sensors 4.
- the structure of the sensor system 9 depends on the used Sensors. If Hall sensors are used, the Usually the signal is processed in the sensor system, in the case of reed sensors, the signal can be entered directly into logic 8 be fed. The signals generated in logic 8 are made visible on display 7. Next are one Timer 10 and a suitable energy storage 11, for. B. in the form of a battery.
- the key 1 is in the embodiment shown additionally provided with an insertion sensor 20.
- This Sensor 20 is when inserting the key 1 into the lock 2 activated, preferably by physical contact. As long as the sensor 20 is not actuated, i.e. the sticking of the key 1 in the lock 2 reports, the sensors are 4 switched off or their signals are not processed. A This prevents false display.
- Buttons switches or buttons as well as a speaker or to provide a lighting device for the display.
- FIGS 4-6 deal with a second Embodiment in which a key 12 is already in one Castle 13 is introduced. In the case shown it is around a conventional lock with a cylinder 14, a bolt 15, a trap 16 and a lock plate 17th
- the position of the bolt 15 is in this case via a lock sensor module 18 detected with an associated transmitter 23 and to a receiver 24, which is shown in the Embodiment is located in a key fob 19, transmitted. Then the corresponding signal is on the display 7 reproduced.
- the display 7 shows that a lock no. 1 was closed 1 hour and 17 minutes ago. On Switching between several locks can e.g. B. about the Keys 21 take place.
- the associated circuit shown in Fig. 5 in Key fob 19 or key 12 works here analogous to FIG. 3, with instead of the sensor system for determining of signals a receiver 24 for receiving signals is provided. These signals are from a transmitter 23rd transmitted, which is attached near the castle 13.
- the associated circuit of the lock sensor module shown in Fig. 6 18 includes a sensor system 9, the closed state recognizes, possibly via own sensors, not shown, and transmitted to their logic 8 with assigned memory.
- the Transmitter 23 is connected to logic 8. Again there are one Timer 10 and a suitable energy store 11 available.
- the lock is identified e.g. B. in that the logic 8 is stamped with a serial number 22.
- the signals collected are appropriately processed and via the transmitter 23 to the receiver 24 transmitted.
- the transmission can only be executed when the closed state of the Castle has changed.
- the key user himself can directly and immediately a suitable display (visual, acoustic or other) be informed.
- a suitable display visual, acoustic or other
- the whole system is also for locks, that allow multiple turns to lock, usable it can be used on the inside and outside of the door and easy to retrofit.
- the key can also be used for locks are used that are not detected.
