- Lift cage (1) for a lift, which is movable at vertical guide rails (34) by a lifting device, with walls (2 to 8) which are composed of sheet metal members and which for increase in strength are at least in part bent over at the edge and form profile sections, wherein individual ones of these wall-forming profile members are prolonged beyond the cage profile at least downwardly so as to form supporting frame members (8), characterised in that the vertical supporting frame members (8) and horizontal base beams (9) form a cantilever sling, which permits the guidance of the lift cage (1) at guide rails (34) mounted at one side near the lift cage (1) and that the base beams (9) are firmly connected with the vertical supporting frame members (8) and form parts or supporting parts of a cage base (10.1, 10.2).
- Lift cage according to claim 1, characterised in that the base beams (9) are inserted through passage openings (22) in the vertical supporting frame members (8) and are firmly connected, for example by screws, with the floor surface of the sheet metal profile section, which has unequal length limbs, of the supporting frame member (8).
- Lift cage according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the supporting frame member (8) has a reinforcing plate (14) at the rear side in the fastening region of the base beams (9).
- Lift cage according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that guide shoes (15) co-operating with the guide rails (34) are fastened to the supporting frame members (8) directly or by way of guide shoe carrier brackets (23).
- Lift cage according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that a carrier yoke (16), at which carrying elements (17) for the traction of the lift cage are anchored, with suspension points (18) projecting into the guide plane is arranged between the base beams (9).
- Lift cage according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that a lifting device is preferably operated in cable-hydraulic manner (17, 35 to 39) and is arranged between the guide rails (34).
- Lift cage according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the base beams (9) extend over the entire length of the cage base (10.1, 10.2).
- Lift cage according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that cross beams (32, 33) reinforcing at the front and/or the rear are provided at the cage base (10.2)
- Lift cage according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the sheet metal members (2 to 7), which form the walls of the lift cage (1), and the supporting frame members (8) directly form the inner walls of the lift cage (1).
- Lift cage according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the sheet metal plates processed into the profile shapes for the wall elements (2 to 8) have a laminate forming a ready-for-use surface.
