Definitions
- the invention relates to a measuring delivery device which in the preamble of claim 1 specified type.
- the stop element is a thread clamp assigned that intercepted by the stop element moved into the stop position Thread in the immediate vicinity of the stop element on the storage body clamps. As soon as the stop element is moved back into the release position, opens the thread clamp.
- the stop element is of one cycle movable thread clamp formed from a movably mounted in the storage body Jack and a stationary, arranged outside the storage body Abutment exists.
- Such measuring delivery devices are used on jet looms in order to Stop element to measure the length of the weft, because that with a nozzle system jet loom working entry device is unable to do that Adhere to the weft length exactly.
- a malfunction for example one Thread breakage downstream of the measuring delivery device or in the shed or for other reasons, at least the jet weaving machine is turned off to correct the error.
- the one located in the stop position Stop element intercepted thread under possibly high thread tension. Becomes this thread tension is released, possibly even suddenly, then loosen at least the last thread turns in the thread supply on the take-off side Storage body, which can lead to hanging or loop formation. This is disadvantageous especially with high-twisted threads and only with great difficulty fix again.
- This voltage is released, for example a manually initiated movement of the stop element from the stop position into the Release position to pull the thread by hand to remedy the malfunction.
- Tension in the thread can also be released when the thread is released a rapier (water jet weaving machine) or one that may be provided controlled thread clamping, braking or tensioning device (air jet weaving machine) upstream of the entry nozzle. Due to the thread stock on the storage body retroactive relaxation of the thread occurring loops, loops, fallen and possibly curled windings increase the time required inappropriate to remedy such a malfunction.
- the invention has for its object a measuring delivery device of the aforementioned Kind to improve in such a way that malfunctions of the type mentioned quickly and can be remedied without excessive waste of thread material.
- the braking effect of the Brake shoe set so that, especially when the stop element moves to the release position, the tension in the thread is slowly reduced without loosening the threads in the thread supply appreciably.
- the thread clamping device for maintaining an orderly thread supply and after malfunctions or when rectifying malfunctions.
- the brake shoe can be placed in its thread clamping position and held there become. It is conceivable to put the brake shoe into the thread clamping position after each entry operation to ask for the reaction of the stretch stroke at the end of the To dampen the entry process in the thread supply. This could be the operational behavior of the measuring delivery device in normal operation also improve because the thread supply and the free thread end are stabilized.
- the actuation of the release device for moving of the stop element pressed into the release position of the brake shoe on the thread supply comes during the subsequent movement of the stop element in the release position to remedy a malfunction or in the event of a sudden Do not relax the thread in a disorderly condition.
- the brake shoe is already in the thread clamping position when the stop element is in the release position is moved, it is still held in the thread clamping position. In the other In this case, it only comes, possibly prematurely, with the movement of the stop element in the release position in its thread clamping position and will then continue in this kept.
- the brake shoe is from its rest position each time Thread clamp position moves when the operation stop switch responds and the jet loom and possibly also stops the measuring delivery device.
- the brake shoe can be operated by hand or via a control command return to the rest position if the malfunction has been remedied or none There is more danger for the thread supply.
- the brake shoe is then automatically in the rest position reset when the Fraudulent Switch is deactivated by the To start normal operation again.
- the brake shoe brakes at least the portion of the trigger direction last thread turn, which extends from the thread supply to the stop element, and expediently in addition also further, turn-side turns of the Yarn store. Thanks to the circumferential distance of the brake shoe from the stop element a short section of thread between the brake shoe and the stop element free to move to the release position when the stop element moves, while the brake shoe the further movement of the thread on the storage body inhibits.
- the brake shoe has a mainly aligned in the axial direction Area of application while being finger-shaped according to claim 9 can be trained.
- the braked thread is applied evenly.
- the braking effect of the brake shoe should be set so that it prevents unwanted loosening or release of the last turn, however, pulling the thread by hand without damage to the thread allows.
- a simple actuation of the brake shoe is given according to claim 12. It leaves a relatively quick response of the brake shoe when adjusting it achieve in the thread clamping position. The return of the brake shoe to the rest position can be done relatively slowly, e.g. because there is a lot of time available.
- the brake shoe is supported in its own holder to to restrict the already narrow access area to the storage body as little as possible.
- the brake shoe can be easily and conveniently on each Adjust the selected diameter of the storage body. This is particularly the case with a measuring delivery device with only one stop element and one variable in diameter Storage body useful.
- the braking effect generated by the brake shoe is not affected by the contact pressure determined, but also by the selection of the thread clamping surface. It should braking that is gentle on the thread can be achieved and still be possible to be able to pull the thread by hand without damage.
- the thread clamping device can be implemented to store them in the optimal position.
- the feasibility should also include the possibility of the thread clamping device in principle to be optimally positioned in relation to the stop element, i.e. closer to the stop element or further away from the stop element, and the brake shoe on the desired number of thread turns to be loaded in the thread supply align.
- a thread processing device E has a jet loom according to FIG. 1 W (an air jet or a water jet loom) with a shed S and at least one entry nozzle N and a measuring delivery device F with which the Weft Y for the jet weaving machine W, which comes from a supply spool 3, is delivered intermittently.
- the entry nozzle can N a controlled thread clamping, braking or tensioning device G his; however, this is not absolutely necessary.
- a water jet loom W is a controlled gripper G connected upstream of the entry nozzle N, which pauses during entry holds the weft Y so that it is essentially from the measuring delivery device to the weaving machine W. is kept stretched.
- a control device can be attached to the jet loom C 'can be provided with an operating stop switch H for switching off the Jet loom W can be connected in the event of a malfunction, also the measuring delivery device F can be connected to this switch H. It is also common a connection between the control device C 'of the jet loom and a Control device C of the measuring delivery device F is provided, for example so-called Transfer trigger signals to initiate the entry process.
- the measuring delivery device F has a drive motor 2 for driving in a housing 1 of a take-up device 4.
- the drive motor 2 is connected to the control device C.
- the winding element 4 can be driven in the winding direction D.
- an essentially drum-shaped storage body 5 is arranged in a stationary manner that by means of the winding element 4 one of several, lying side by side Thread turns existing thread supply 6 can be applied, from which the weft thread Y is withdrawn overhead of the storage body 5 into the jet loom.
- the withdrawal end of the storage body 5 is at least one stop device on the outside P assigned in which a stop element 9 between a stop position (Fig. 1) and a withdrawn release position is movable back and forth.
- the stop device P has a housing 8 with an actuating element for the stop element 9, the is expediently attached to the housing 1 or a housing bracket.
- the diameter of the storage body 5 is not adjustable, is different for setting Weft lengths a number of stop devices P over the circumference of the storage body 5 distributed. However, the storage body 5 is in its Variable diameter, then a single stop device P can be used.
- Part of the stop device P is one that can be actuated manually or by means of a control command Release device A, with which the stop element 9 if necessary (in the event of a malfunction) or can be moved from the stop position to the release position as desired.
- a thread clamping device K is provided, which by means of an actuator 10 from a rest position to a thread clamping position on the storage body 5 adjustable brake shoe B.
- the brake shoe B is in the winding direction D. a circumferential distance behind the position of the stop member 9 and extends approximately in the circumferential area of the stop element 9 axial direction opposite to the take-off direction, such that in the thread clamping position of the brake shoe B at least the last thread turns on the The withdrawal side of the thread supply 6 can be clamped against the storage body 5.
- the Actuator 10 can with the control device C, the release device A and the Operation stop switch H may be connected. If necessary, an additional, Actuation, not shown, for resetting the brake shoe B from the thread clamping position provided in the rest position.
- the brake shoe B is in its stop position when the stop element 9 is moved into the stop position adjusts the thread turns on the storage body 5 clamps or brakes. In normal operation, brake shoe B must not be in its thread clamping position be when the stop element 9 is moved into its release position. In the event of a malfunction and response of a malfunction indicator (not shown) or the operating stop switch H or when the release device A is actuated however, the brake shoe is held in its thread clamping position until there is a malfunction fixed or at least that in the thread between the stop element 9 and the The gripper or the thread clamp G or the insertion nozzle N prevailing thread tension has gradually been reduced to such an extent that the thread turns become loose in the thread supply 6 or a fall of turns or a loop formation is no longer to be feared.
- the brake shoe B extends finger-like approximately in the axial direction of the storage body 5 (Figs. 2 and 3). It clamps at least part X in the thread clamping position the last thread turn on the take-off side in the thread supply 6 against the storage body 5, which is from the last thread turn to the one in the stop position Stop element 9 extends (Fig. 2). If the brake shoe B is longer (in FIG. 2 indicated by dashed lines), then he also clamps the next thread turns on the take-off side on the storage body 5.
- the release device is used to remedy the malfunction A actuated to the stop element 9 from the stop position to the release position to move, then pressing the release device A or even brought the brake shoe B into the thread clamping position, in which it at least the part X of the thread is clamped.
- this can only up to the brake shoe B relax quickly without loosening the turns in the thread supply 6 or to form loops or to drop thread turns from the storage body 5.
- the brake shoe B allows, if at all, only a slow degradation of the prevailing tension, so that on the one hand the weft thread from the brake shoe B in Direction to the jet weaving machine W is not completely loose, and on the other hand the thread turns in the thread supply 6 remain properly positioned.
- This State is indicated in Fig. 3.
- X1 concern additional take-up thread turns, on which the brake shoe B can also act as a brake. Becomes Now remove the thread by hand to remedy the malfunction, then this is done against the braking effect of the brake shoe B, which is in its thread clamping position remains. The thread supply 6 remains properly positioned even if it continues the thread turns must be pulled off by hand.
- stop element 9 is first engaged until the weft Y on again Stop element 9 is caught and properly clamped to the inlet nozzle N. before or only then is the brake shoe B moved back into the rest position, in which it is lifted from the storage body 5. This can happen, for example, when deactivating of the operating stop switch H, or via the control device C 'or in Dependence on an actuation of the release device A for moving the Stop element 9 in the stop position, or by means of a control command from the control device C.
- Fig. 4 illustrates that the thread clamping device K in one in its diameter variable storage body 5 ', which expediently consists of several radially adjustable segments 5a, attached to the stop device P or together with this attached to a bracket 13 such that at a Adjustment of the diameter of the storage body 5 'in the direction of the double arrow 12 also adjust the brake shoe B in the direction of the double arrow 14 accordingly leaves.
- the stop device P can also be adjusted accordingly.
- the brake shoe B with the Actuator 10 of the thread clamping device K is connected in that in a Cylinder 16 an actuating piston 15 is slidably guided, the brake shoe B by means of a bias spring 17 in the thread clamping position (Fig. 5), and at Actuation of the cylinder 16 via a line 18 in the rest position, not shown stands out from the storage body 5, 5 '.
- the brake shoe B at least the part X the last thread turn on the take-off side is fixed on the storage body 5, 5 ', in the winding direction behind the stop device P and the stop element 9.
- the brake shoe B is attached to an arm 19 (e.g. a leaf spring) arranged which can be tilted about a bearing 21 and by a spring 20 in Direction is applied to the thread clamping position.
- An actuator 15 ' for example a control magnet, brings and holds the brake shoe B in the rest position.
- the thread clamping device is also here Area of the stop device P arranged with its stop element 9. However, it is conceivable, the thread clamping device completely separate from the stop device provided.
- the brake shoe B has a thread clamping surface 22, which expediently the curvature corresponds to the cooperating surface of the storage body 5, 5 ', i.e. is convex if necessary, corresponding to the concave Curvature of the storage body 5, 5 '.
- the thread clamping surface 22 can be frictionally active be trained, e.g. with bristles or a friction surface.
- the Thread clamping surface 22 can be structured and / or designed to be resilient.
- the brake shoe B can be made in one piece or in several parts in order to ensure a uniform To ensure pressure on the thread turns and the storage body 5, 5 '.
- the circumferential distance of the brake shoe B from the stop element 9 is expedient and also the axial position of the brake shoe B adjustable to the thread clamping device Adapt K to different operating conditions and thread qualities to be able to.
- Fastening devices can also be provided on the measuring delivery device F. be to the thread clamping device to the other peripheral side of the stop device implement if the direction of rotation of the thread delivery device is changed.
- the circumferential distance between the brake shoe B and the stop element 9 is expedient, so that when moving the stop element in the release position high thread tension prevailing in the weft Y is reduced to a lower value without suddenly pulling the thread under the brake shoe.
