Abstract

Die Duschbereichsabtrennung für Dusch- bzw. Badewannen umfaßt zumindest von einigen der Wannenränder ausgehende und sich n ach oben erstreckende Trennwandsegmente. Diese sind in bezug auf die zugehörige Wanne bzw. an einer den Duschbereich mit begrenzenden stationären Wand fest montiert oder aber zur Ermöglichung des Zutritts zum Duschbereich um eine vertikale Achse verschwenkbar gelagert. Eine besonders einfache, leichte Ausführung ergibt sich, wenn jedes Trennwandsegment aus einem Abschnitt (5) eines flexiblen, praktisch wasserundurchlässigen Materials, wie z.B. eines textilen Gewebes bzw. einer Kunststoffolie sowie aus mit diesem Materialabschnitt verbundenen, ihn in gestrafften Zustand überführenden und in diesem Zustand haltenden Spannstäben (6) besteht. Dabei erstrecken sich die Spannstäbe (6) von den Ecken jedes rechteckig geformten flexiblen Materialabschnitts (5) ausgehend jeweils zur diagonal gegenüberliegenden Ecke. An ihrer zentralen Kreuzungsstelle ist den Spannstäben (6) eine sie relativ zueinander winkelverdrehbar, jedoch in festem Abstand zueinander haltende Fassung (7) zugeordnet.
