Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for packaging a Roll of material in which a packaging web for Formation of a body packaging in a helical shape the web of material is wound, which is under training an axially inner end and an axially outer It ends at a dividing line and the packaging line at the beginning and / or at the end of the web of material Formation of a final packaging with the formation of an im substantially uniform axial projection in the circumferential direction is wrapped around the roll of material.
- Packaging of this type has the advantage of being independent on the width of the roll of material to be packed manages with a single supply roll, i.e. no different widths of packaging lines are required more.
- the body packaging is over the axial length of the material web roll, so to speak, axially composed.
- an axial protrusion the packaging web is then folded onto the front cover and finally an outer front cover on the folded one Protrusion and the inner front cover applied and attached, you add the body packaging with the helical packaging web by at least one final packaging in which the Packaging web with the formation of an axial protrusion wrapped in the circumferential direction around the roll of material web becomes.
- the latitude then lies here the packaging web parallel to the axis of the material web roll, while making the body package at an acute angle to the axis of the web roll runs.
- US-A-39 28 939 describes a method of packaging of elongated cylindrical objects with a plastic film, in which the plastic film first on one End of the object wrapped around the object in the circumferential direction becomes. After that, the same slide becomes something accordingly inclined and lies helically around the object. If the other end of the Object is reached, the film dispenser retracts Piece back and it is done by rotating the object creates a final packaging. Then it’s covered with foil enveloped object passed through a heating furnace in which the plastic film shrinks onto the object.
- the invention has for its object a packaging to generate against the damage mentioned above is less sensitive.
- This object is achieved in that the packaging web when forming the carcass packaging with its axially outer end as far axially over the end the web roll is led out that the axially inner end of the packaging web during subsequent forming the final packaging is covered by the final packaging becomes.
- the axially inner end of the packaging web the body packaging is in an area from an axially inner edge strip of the packaging web of the final packaging with a maximum width of 20% of the Width of the packaging line is covered.
- Words provide that the protrusion of the axially inner End of the packaging path of the final packaging the axially inner end of the packaging path of the carcass packaging maximum 20% of the width of the packaging line is. This configuration ensures that that the inner tip of the body packaging is covered becomes. However, this coverage is in the range of axially inner end of the end packaging, so that the axial Excess of the body packaging must be kept small can. This saves packaging material.
- the end of the body packaging is completely covered by the final packaging. This facilitates the subsequent folding of the axial Protrusion of the final packaging. There is no danger that axially outside on the body packaging another Tip arises, which could lead to damage.
- the axially projecting end of the body packaging is preferred kept free of glue. Because that's axial protruding end of the body packaging on the front the material web is folded in, there are unfavorable Cases of danger that the packaging line the body packaging to the front of the roll of material comes, for example, from the inner front cover is not fully covered. If Now the axial overhang of the body packaging is free of Glue holds, then there is no danger.
- the adhesive in applied several parallel stripes with at least one strip on the axially protruding Part ends earlier than the others.
- Adhesive is used and the axial protrusion the final packaging only after the period has expired is folded on the front. If the glue If it dries in the air, it loses its adhesiveness. Folding in is then possible without risk because of the axial protrusion is no longer glued to the face.
- the time period is at least is as large as that for forming the two end packs needed time. If you have the axial protrusion folds in only when the end packaging are completely manufactured, then this time must anyway elapse. So there are no additional ones Dead times that could slow down the packaging.
- the invention is based on a preferred Exemplary embodiment explained. Herein shows the only figure a wrapped roll of material.
- the figure shows a packaged web roll 1.
- Material web rolls 1 of this type arise, for example in the production of paper or textile webs. They are of considerable size. Your diameter lies in the range of 0.5 to 2.5 m. Your axial length is in the range of 0.5 to 3.8 m or even more out.
- the body packaging 2 and the final packaging 3 are made from the same packaging web 4.
- the Packing lane consists of wrapping paper and has one Width of at least 350 mm. With that one can axial projection 11 from 100 to 150 mm at the end of the Realize web roll 1.
- To make the carcass packaging 2 becomes the packaging web 4 helically around the material web roll 1 guided.
- the packaging web has a width B.
- the pitch of the helix is set so that successive layers of the packaging web 4 in overlap the present embodiment by B / 2. This creates a two-layer body package 2. Of course you can also use other conditions choose between width B and slope, so that you also multilayer, for example three or four-layer body packaging 2 can produce.
- the overlap is represented by the fact that the respective right edge of the Packaging web 4 shown in dashed lines in the figure is. So it is from the subsequent packaging web location covered.
- the packaging web 4 is in the area of its edges Glue beads 5, 6 provided, i.e. with an almost linear shape Apply glue so that when manufacturing the body packaging along its entire length the roll of material web or with previously applied layers the packaging web 4 is glued.
- the packaging line 4 ends at a cutting or Dividing line 7. There is then on the axially inner End an inner tip 8 and at the axially outer end outer tip 9.
- the outer tip 9 lies in an area of the packaging web 4 which is axially across the End 10 of the web roll 1 protrudes.
- the final packaging 3 consists of at least one layer, but usually several layers of the packaging web 4, the circumferential direction forming an axial Overhang 11 wrapped around the web roll 1 is.
- the end of the packaging line 4 of the carcass packaging is now correct 2, i.e. the location of the cutting or dividing line 7, so on the location of the final packaging 3 that the cutting or dividing line 7 completely from the final packaging 3 is covered.
- this ensures that the inner tip 8 of the final packaging is covered.
- the glue bead 5 in the region of the edge the packaging web 4 is arranged but to this has a small distance. This leads to the inner tip 8 of the material web roll 1 can solve. Characterized in that the final packaging 3 the inner Covering corner 8, this danger is eliminated been.
- the outer tip 9 is also from the final packaging 3 covered. Here, too, there is no longer any danger that he stands out. This could become a point of attack for damage.
- the axial projection 11 of the final packaging 3 on the end face 10 of the material web roll 1 folded. Possibly an inner front cover can be inserted beforehand become.
