Abstract

Es wird eine Vakuum-Druckgießmaschine vorgeschlagen, bei welcher die Formhälften (3, 4) mittels einer Dichtungsanordnung (16) gegeneinander abgedichtet sind. Beim Zusammenfahren der Formhälften entsteht aufgrund der überstehenden Dichtung ein zu komprimierendes Luftvolumen, wobei eine Verdrängung der so eingeschlossenen Luft bis in die Metallschmelze (8) des Warmhalteofens (10) dadurch vermieden wird, daß der Gießkolben (7) während dieses Vorgangs das Ansaugrohr (9) verschließt.
