Abstract

The package, made from a transparent plastics or similar material, comprises a flat supporting panel (5) with a blister (5) to contain the product. A hole (6) is used for suspending the package from a rod to display the article for sale. The package is made in two halves, each with one section of an inclined blister which extends from one half to the other. When several packages are suspended from one rod the adjacent blisters fit together. The blister has a portion (7) which is basically parallelepiped in shape, and is set at an angle of some 30 degrees to the flat supporting panel. The two halves of the package can be identical, and each moulded in one piece.

Description

The present invention relates to a device for packaging a product, intended to be suspended from a pin fixed on a support surface for a presentation of the product for sale.

When presented for sale, low voltage switches or circuit breakers are most often placed in bulk in cardboard boxes. This form of presentation is not satisfactory because it does not allow a vision of these devices and their operating characteristics inscribed on their front face, by the consumer circulating on the shelves of large DIY stores.

Devices for packaging products are known, such as, for example, batteries, comprising a shell of plastic or the like, said shell comprising a flat support provided on the one hand with a transparent compartment intended for housing the product to be packaged and 'other hand, an orifice through which said packaging is intended to be suspended from a spindle fixed perpendicularly to a support surface, several shells can be juxtaposed in parallel on the same spindle, during a presentation of the product for sale. However, in these packages, the products extend parallel to the aforementioned flat support. As a result, when these devices are used for packaging switches, they do not allow a vision of the device as soon as it arrives on the shelf.

The present invention solves these problems and proposes a packaging device intended for the presentation of products on spindles in particular in large areas, of simple design, and making it possible to stack a large number of packages on the same spindle. This device is particularly suitable for packaging electrical devices such as low voltage switches, because it allows a vision of the device and its characteristics as soon as it arrives on the shelf.

To this end, the present invention relates to a packaging device of the kind mentioned above, this device being characterized in that the aforementioned compartment extends on either side of the aforementioned plane support in an inclined direction relative to the plane P of said support, so that in aligned position of the packages on the same spindle, the juxtaposed compartments overlap one another .

According to a particular embodiment of the invention, the aforementioned compartment comprises a portion of substantially parallelepiped shape.

According to a particular characteristic, the angle α of inclination of the aforementioned compartment relative to the flat support is of the order of 30 °.

According to another characteristic, the aforementioned compartment is formed by two identical half-compartments extending respectively on either side of the planar support.

According to another characteristic, it houses an electrical device such as a switch, the front face of which is opposite the front face of the compartment.

Advantageously, the aforementioned fixing orifice is located on the side of the upper face of the switch.

According to another characteristic, each shell comprises two identical half-shells, each comprising a flat support provided with a half-compartment and a fixing orifice, said half-shells being juxtaposed by their internal faces and fixed one to the other. 'other.
