Description

The present invention relates to a device for packaging a product, intended to be suspended from a pin fixed on a support surface for a presentation of the product to the sale.

When presented for sale, low voltage switches or circuit breakers are the more often placed in bulk in cardboard boxes. This form of presentation is not satisfactory because it does not allow a vision of these devices and their characteristics of operation written on their front side, by the consumer circulating on the shelves large DIY stores.

There are known devices for packaging products such as for example batteries, comprising a plastic or similar shell, said shell comprising a flat support provided on the one hand with a transparent compartment intended for housing the product to be packaged and secondly, an orifice through which said packaging is intended to be suspended from a spindle fixed perpendicular to a support surface, several shells can be juxtaposed in parallel on the same spindle, during a presentation of the product for sale. However, in these packages the products extend parallel to the support aforementioned plan (see for example FR 2 718 719). As a result, when these devices are used for packaging of switches, they do not allow a vision of the device from the arrival on the shelf.

The present invention solves these problems and proposes a packaging device intended for the presentation of products on spindles, especially in supermarkets, of design simple, and allows stacking a large number of packages on the same spindle. This device is particularly suitable for packaging electrical devices such as low voltage switches, because it allows a vision of the device and its characteristics upon arrival in the shelf.

To this end, the present invention relates to a packaging device of the kind previously mentioned, this device being characterized in that the aforementioned compartment extends on either side of the aforementioned plane support in a single direction inclined relative to said flat support, so that in an aligned position of the packages on the same spindle, the juxtaposed compartments overlap one another.

According to a particular embodiment of the invention, the aforementioned compartment includes a portion of substantially parallelepiped shape.

According to a particular characteristic, the angle ∝ of inclination of the aforementioned compartment by ratio to the planar support is around 30 °.

According to another characteristic, the aforementioned compartment is formed of two half-compartments identical extending respectively on either side of the planar support.

According to another characteristic, it houses an electrical device such as a switch whose face front is opposite the front of the compartment.

Advantageously, the aforementioned fixing orifice is situated on the side of the upper face of the switch.

According to another characteristic, each hull comprises two identical half-shells each comprising a flat support provided with a half-compartment and a orifice fixing, said half-shells being juxtaposed by their internal faces and fixed one to the other.

According to another characteristic, each half-compartment comprises a first part of semi-parallelepiped shape and a second prism-shaped part with a triangular base connecting the first part to the flat support and intended in particular to house a notice Job.

Advantageously, the compartments (or half-compartments) as well as the orifices of aforementioned fixing came from molding with the flat supports.

In FIG. 3, three packaging devices 10, 11, 12 according to the invention are seen, aligned on the same pin (not shown). The three flat supports 13, 14, 15 associated with these three packaging devices 10, 11, 12 are mutually parallel and parallel to the surface support (not shown) on which the spindle is fixed. We also see that the three compartments 16, 17, 18 associated with the three devices 10, 11, 12 are nested, ie overlap in the manner of tiles. Thanks to the invention, a packaging device has therefore been produced allowing the vision of the packaged product and more particularly of its front face upon arrival in the shelf, and which allows the juxtaposition of a large number of these devices on the same pin.

Of course, the invention is not limited to the embodiment described and illustrated which has not was given only as an example. This is how, for example, this device can be used to make the packaging. other than switches and having other shapes.

On the contrary, the invention includes all the technical means of the means described as well as their combinations if these are carried out according to his spirit.

Claims (9)

1. A packaging device in particular for packaging electrical equipment such as a switch of the kind comprising a shell made of plastic or similar material, said shell comprising a flat support provided on the one hand with a transparent compartment designed for housing the product to be packaged and on the other hand with a hole by means of which said packaging is designed to be hung on a hook fixed perpendicularly to a wall support surface, several shells being able to be juxtaposed in parallel on the same hook, when the product is presented for sale,
   characterized in that the above-mentioned compartment (5) extends on each side of the above-mentioned support (4) in a single inclined direction with respect to said flat support (4), so that in the aligned position of the packagings (10, 11, 12) on one and the same hook, the juxtaposed compartments (16, 17, 18) fit into one another.
2. The device according to claim 1, characterized in that the above-mentioned compartment (5) comprises a portion of appreciably parallelepipedic shape (7).
3. The device according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the angle of incline α of the above-mentioned compartment (5) with respect to the flat support (4) is about 30°.
4. The device according to any one of the claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the above-mentioned compartment (5) is formed by two identical half-compartments (9, 19) extending respectively on each side of the flat support (4).
5. The device according to any one of the foregoing claims, characterized in that it houses an electrical apparatus such as a switch (I), the front panel (20) whereof is facing the front face (a) of the compartment (5).
6. The device according to claim 5, characterized in that the above-mentioned fixing hole (6) is situated on the same side as the top face of the switch (I).
7. The device according to any one of the foregoing claims, characterized in that each shell (3) comprises two identical half-shells (1, 2) each comprising a flat support (4) provided with a half-compartment (9, 19) and a fixing hole (6a, 6b), said half-shells (1, 2) being juxtaposed via their internal faces and fixed to one another.
8. The device according to claim 7, characterized in that each half-compartment (9, 19) comprises a first part (9a) of semi-parallelepipedic shape and a second part (9b) in the shape of a triangular-based prism joining the first part (9a) to the flat support (4) and designed to house in particular an instructions leaflet.
9. The device according to any one of the foregoing claims, characterized in that the above-mentioned compartments (5) (or half-compartments) and fixing holes (6a, 6b) are moulded together with the flat supports (4).
