Definitions

  • the invention relates to a stapler with a base part, with a clip magazine which can be pivoted to a limited extent about a transverse axis in the rear region of the base part, with a clip part which can be pivoted about the transverse axis with respect to the clip magazine and the base part, and which carries a cap or is designed as a cap, with a holder in a holder of the upper part is mounted in an oscillating manner, can be inserted into an ejection channel of the staple magazine, can be moved by swiveling the upper part in the ejecting direction, and has a driver cover arranged on the staple magazine or on a magazine cover located in the upper part, reaching through from below to the front through an elongated hole of the driver plate aligned parallel to the direction of movement and below the action of a spring arranged between the upper part and the clip magazine or magazine cover can be struck against the lower boundary edge of the elongated hole, with its free end over the front broad side surface of the Driver plate protruding
  • a stapler of this type has become known on the market due to its apparent prior use. Similar stapling devices, which, however, do not have a driver plate mounted on the upper part in an oscillating manner, are known from FR-A-1 155 721 and DE-U-86 10 704.
  • a stapling slide which is guided in a slide guide of the staple magazine and is spring-supported to the head part thereof is provided, while the upper part can be pivoted from the closed position to an opened loading position by taking the staple slide with respect to the staple magazine and the bottom part and has a magazine cover which can be pivoted about the transverse axis to a limited extent under the action of a spring and which engages in the clamp magazine from above in the closed position of the upper part and carries the stop lug.
  • the magazine cover is lifted off the clip magazine via its stop lug, which is attached to the driver plate, and taken into the loading position.
  • the stop lug rises from the lower edge of the slot on the driver plate. This creates the danger that the driver plate is pivoted about its pendulum axis out of the effective range of the stop lug and detaches from the magazine cover, with the result that the stapler becomes inoperable.
  • the stop lug it has already been proposed to design the stop lug as a latching lug that overlaps the elongated hole on its lower edge and on its side edges.
  • incorrect operation which can lead to partial disassembly of the driver plate, the magazine cover and the spring interacting with it, cannot be ruled out here either.
  • the staple magazine has a slide guide for a spring-assisted staple slide and a spring-loaded spring compartment for the staples, which can be moved parallel to the staple slide and snapped onto the staple magazine and has the ejection channel on its front.
  • the stop nose is rigidly connected to the clip magazine or a magazine cover rigidly connected to it.
  • the spring compartment When the spring compartment is closed, the lower edge of the driver plate engaging in the ejection channel is encompassed by the upper edge of the spring compartment. This enclosure is missing when the spring compartment is open, so that improper handling can result in the driver plate coming loose from the engagement of the stop lug.
  • the driver plate can fall out of its holder and be lost.
  • the spring-assisted connection between the clip magazine and the upper part is separated, so that the staple device is no longer functional overall. Unless additional precautions are taken, a spring loosely arranged in the area between the clip magazine and the upper part can also be lost.
  • the invention has for its object to improve the known stapler with top loader or spring mechanism so that an unwanted loosening of the connection between the clip magazine or magazine cover, upper part and driver plate is prevented with simple means.
  • the invention is based on the idea that an accidental Detachment of the driver plate from its installed position can be prevented by the cap having an end wall that extends with its lower edge into the vicinity of the stop lug or overlaps the end wall, which has on its inner surface facing the stop lug with at least one side near its lower edge at a lateral distance is arranged by the stop lug, facing the front broad side surface of the driver plate projection.
  • the distance between the free ends of the projection and the stop lug facing one another should be chosen to be smaller than the material thickness of the driver plate. It is better if the projection and the stop lug laterally overlap in the area of their free ends. With these measures it is achieved that between the stop lug on the one hand and the projection of the cap end wall on the other hand no space remains free, through which the driver plate fits.
  • a preferred embodiment of the invention provides that the cap has two projections arranged at a lateral distance from one another on opposite sides of the stop lug.
  • the pendulum holder has two guide gaps which are arranged at a lateral distance from one another and are aligned in the longitudinal direction for receiving laterally on the driver plate protruding pendulum arms with limited longitudinal play, while the inside of the cap front wall has at least two limit stops which limit the longitudinal play and point in the guide path of the guide column in the direction of the front broad side surface of the driver plate.
  • the staple device shown in FIGS. 1 and 1a formed as an upper loader, consists essentially of an elongated one, which has an anvil plate 10 in its front area and in its rear area In the area of a bearing block 12 bearing base part 14, a bracket magazine 22 which is limitedly pivotable against a spring 18 against the force of a spring 18 and which is guided in a slide guide 24 of the bracket magazine 22 on the bearing bracket 12 about a transverse axis 16 from a rest position raised from the bottom part with its head part 20 in the direction of the anvil plate 10 , in the direction of the head part 20 by a spring 26 supported by a spring 26, and a pivotable about the transverse axis 16 relative to the clamp magazine 22 and the bottom part 14 by about 180 ° from a closed position into an opened loading position while taking the clamp slide 28, one by a spring 30 supported magazine cover 31 and a driver plate 32, which engages in the head part 20 of the clip magazine 22 and has a cap 34, the upper part 36 of the driver plate 32 is mounted in its upper
  • the longitudinal play in the guide gap is limited towards the front by limit stops 44 formed on the end wall 42 of the cap 34 and directed in the direction of the front broad side surface of the driver plate 32 so that the pendulum arms 38 cannot slide down forward of the pendulum holder 40.
  • protruding projection lugs 46 are formed, which extends through an elongated hole 48 in the direction of displacement of the driver plate 32 from behind to the front and a stop for the lower edge 50 of the elongated hole 48 in the under the action of the spring 30th raised end position forms.
  • the magazine cover 31 can also be latched from above into a recess 52 of the clip magazine 22 which is open at the edge, with the part of its stop nose 46 projecting beyond the driver plate 32. In this position, the driver plate 32 engages in the ejection channel 54 of the clip magazine 22.
  • the upper part 36 is lifted off the clip magazine 22 together with the magazine cover 31 and the driver plate 32 by disengaging the stop lug 46 from the latching recess 52.
  • two cam-like projections 58 arranged at a lateral distance from one another are formed near the lower edge of the cap end wall 42. the front ends of which point in the direction of the broad side surface of the driver plate 32 and which close the passage gap between the stop lug 46 and the end wall inner surface 42.
  • the staple magazine 22 has a spring compartment 60 which can be displaced in a slide guide of the staple magazine and which can be latched in the inserted end position on the staple magazine 22 for receiving the staples.
  • the stop lug 46 is arranged on the non-displaceable magazine cover 31 'of the clip magazine 22 and engages from the rear to the front through the slot 48 in FIG Driver plate 32 through.
  • cam-like projections 58 projecting inward in the direction of the broad side surface of the driver plate 32 are provided in the vicinity of the lower edge of the cap end wall 42.
  • the invention relates to a stapler with a base part 14, a clip magazine 22 which can be pivoted to a limited extent about a transverse axis 16 on the base part 14 and a cap 34 which can be pivoted about the transverse axis 16 relative to the clip magazine 22 and the base part 14 or an upper part 36 designed as a cap.
  • a driver plate 32 is pivotally mounted in a holder 40 which is open at the edge and which can be inserted into an ejection channel 54 of the clip magazine 22 and can be displaced relative to the clip magazine 22 in the ejection direction by pivoting.
  • a stop lug 46 is formed on a magazine cover 31, 31 ', which extends forward through an elongated hole 48 of the driver plate 32 aligned parallel to the direction of displacement and can be abutted against the lower boundary edge 50 of the elongated hole 48.
  • the cap 34 has an end wall 42 with its lower edge 56 as far as the stop lug 46, which on its inner surface is spaced apart from one another by two and projections 58, which face the front broad side surface of the driver plate 32 and which close the gap between the end wall 42 and the stop nose 46 for the passage of the driver plate 32, are provided.
